She hasn't been "safe" since the moment Tad Cummins decided to groom and manipulate her for his own ends. My God, the ignorance here. And this person represents their state in matters of govt affairs? <modsnip>

Sidenote... I thought this quote from Sheila Butt, a Republican state lawmaker who represents Columbia, was pretty strange and a little inappropriate. Seems like she is defending TCs character, unless I am misinterpreting.

Occam's Razor (principle that states "the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation is") wins again - TC was still driving around in the Rogue (with minor adjustment) and they kept going west after hitting OKC. Wow.

Anyway, called and texted my husband with the good news. I've been so personally invested in finding Elizabeth that I had to share my elation with a loved one.

Interesting that they made it all the way to Northern CA with the Rogue. I wonder when he took the plate off?

Anyway, I was also personally invested in finding Elizabeth, and just feel so joyful right now! I can almost feel her father and siblings' relief and happiness!

A month into this story now, and while i am glad there is a semi circle now not yet fully closed, I'm going to ask if TC tied anyone up or otherwise retrained them while he went to look for work, or if anyone just waited for him to return with a job.

She may have continued to be with him willingly. After all, he's had a month of one on one time to continue to brain wash her. She may not even have wanted to be located. She may have been very upset to be taken into protective custody. Doesn't matter... he's still a predator and a criminal, and ET is still a 15 year old girl.

I am surprised he would take her to a commune. Would that not increase the risk of being reported? Plus he may get jealous of other members paying attention to Elizabeth. I have little knowledge about these communes .would this one allow adults to be with minors. Maybe they lied about Elizabeth 's age.

Yes it surprised me too but some of these communes sound dodgy. Not saying all of them are.

Some communes have the "live and let live" mentality so I can see him taking her to one kinda a no questions asked kinda thing.
