They did suspend him when she was seen in his classroom. The letter is in the media files.

They did NOT, by their own timeline they released today. They LIED about this to the media. Several of us have linked this. They did not suspend him when they were notified of a CRIMINAL investigation by LE. After the criminal investigation notification, they were seen together and he STILL wasn't suspended! That is unacceptable. Completely. A teacher under criminal investigation for inappropriate contact has no business in a classroom with minors. We can agree to disagree.

Jan. 31: Maury County Schools learns Cummins is under criminal investigation. They turn over all information they have on him to police.
Feb. 3: Maury County school officials receive a tip that Cummins and Elizabeth were back in the classroom together even after he was told to stay away.
Feb. 6: Cummins is suspended from teaching at Culleoka Unit School.

If this has been mentioned before, I missed it.

On TC's IG account, there's a picture of two pairs of legs in the trunk of a van or SUV or truck. The rear door of the vehicle is open onto a beautiful lake. It's dusk and there are globe lights dangling from the roof of the vehicle. Clearly a couple in love, camping.

This was posted back when it was clear he/they were planning to leave. It's a Google image (not actually them), but when I saw it I wondered if that was part of the fantasy plan --- to camp on a remote lake with the rear door open and recreate that image.

Just a thought I wanted to share. Hopefully LE is doing a lot of aerial searches over remote lake areas, perhaps in southern Texas or Louisiana. Somewhere it's a straight shot to the border if he feels the heat is on.

Just jumping off your post JerseyGirl. I think there is a misunderstanding about Cummins' wife's employment. His record indicates that she is employed by the Maury County Board of Education, not that she is a member of the school board. Teachers, secretaries, custodians, etc., are all employed by their local Board of Education. I haven't seen any evidence that she is or was on the Board of Education.

Forgot to mention this yesterday, but on page 20 of the PDF there are what looks like some courses for educators that he took in 2014. Do we have any teachers here who can look at those courses and see if that's correct?

That is incorrect. TC was not allowed to continue teaching. He was suspended without pay at 8AM on 02/06/2017. ET was given an in-school-suspension, because she was refusing to stay out of TC's classroom, as directed.

TC was also ordered to stay away from her. Yet, he was not removed from the classroom immediately when he was seen with her. But she was suspended.

Observations by me :

1) Cummins and ET had a relationship that spans back quite awhile.
2) A reasonable person would have to conclude there was a lot more going on between them other than a little flirting and some classroom petting.
3) No one knows how much time these two spent together away from the school.
4) From the day he was fired, until ET was picked up, 5 weeks went by.
5) Although ET appears to be a somewhat willing participant, it’s unclear if she was fully aware of the scope and planning involved on the part of Cummins. This is evidenced by her comment to the sibling about what should be done were she not home by 6 p.m.---ET herself may have noticed erratic and desperate behavior on the part of Cummins.
6) Cummins became unglued after he was fired on Feb. 6th. He had 5 weeks to get his finances in order, find a place to hide, research LE techniques, research disappearing techniques, and setup a safe refuge for the two of them. I imagine this is what he did all day long, every single day, up until March 13th.
7) I find it almost impossible to believe that Cummins’ wife didn’t have knowledge of the school systems’ allegations, suspension, and written correspondence related to such. Cummins may very well have convinced her that he was being unfairly treated and persecuted by the school system.

all I see left for Cummins is a bullet to the head as LE begins to surround his hideout and pull out the bullhorns.

I wouldn't be one little bit surprised, to learn that he wasn't the one who first suggested "Eloping" and running away together. Personally I am very skeptical she ever told anyone to call the police on him.

Again, she is a child, 100% the victim, but he is not forcing, or "hiding her" against her will. SHE is actively hiding herself. And I don't think she will simply tire of him one day, stroll into a store and announce that she is E. She seems just as determined as he, to make this happen. Long-term. They are going to have to be caught. seriously, I can't see being bored, or uncomfortable, being a deterrent for either of them.

This will make them much, much harder to find imo.

We don't know that she may have left willingly and he may not be letting her go home. She made a couple of statements that sounds like she was worried and may not have wanted to run MOO

They have been missing for some time. I highly doubt she is happy go lucky hiding with him. We do not know what she does or does want right now. Or how she feels, or what her mental state is. SHE CANNOT CONSENT TO LEAVE WITH HIM. It is not legal. Her IG before this happened was fantasy land with whatever jacked up alternative world he fed her. IMO, she is now likely terrifyingly isolated and in danger.

No that is not exactly what happened.He shouldn't have been allowed to step foot in that school, the moment they were notified of a criminal investigation. He should have been suspended the moment they made aware. He should have been suspended the moment he was seen with her. His toes shouldn't have been allowed on their property line. He should have known that FRIDAY. We will simply not agree on this. I'm moving on.
