Okay, I went back through all of Tad's tweets to 2011. Here are some locations those tweets tied him to...along with the number of posts I found about each place.

Atlanta (1)
Nashville (8 posts over several different trips)
Franklin, TN (1)
Orange Beach, FL (4)

Anyone know where this is?

Going to post some other observations about his tweets in my next post.

It looks like Gulf Crest Motel on Panama City Beach to me fwiw.

What makes you believe she's not acting like an adult? Her taste for Disney?

maybe because she's not an adult?

Here's a few other observations from Twitter (locations mentioned in post above).

He tweeted about a survivalist tool--called a life straw--that lets you drink out of streams.

He tweeted the band Redneck Riviera a few times.

He tweeted quotes about going against the grain/the man/conventional life/work:

He retweeted a post from the CIA.

He posted a few "right to bear arms" type of posts in favor of gun ownership.

A couple jeep lover posts. Quite a few coffee lover posts.

Lots of food posts--advocated strongly for raw, real, organic foods.

Irregular posts on politics and political issues. Some were pro-Trump.

The majority of posts were quotes from Christian celebs--best selling authors, musicians, speakers etc. But a fair amount of posts influenced by Eastern thought/Buddhism etc. as well. And some from non-religious motivational speakers and nutritionists. Topics included taking risks, going all in, having a sense of adventure, and changing the world.

He likes the Viking s. Show on the history channel. Fine I am sure many Christian people watch it but I know some would not like the way it makes you emphasise with the pagans at times. Oh goodness I am probably going to upset people . I just thought it was weird as his Instagram was so much about God and being. Jesus 'freak'. Maybe he will say it was because one of the characters was questioning his pagan believes and interested in Jesus. He had an Instagram photo of that character. I am not sure. My point is probably stupid. Anyhow. I just found it strange. Hope I am not upseting anyway. I am quite a contradictory person anyhow but this just seemed a little weird to me. I mean those vikings got up to things. I am sure many church goers watch the show. So not saying it is bad but let us just say I found it interesting he watched it. Please be kind to me it is just my opinion and a thought I had that probably makes no sense to anyone....or is helpful. .. I wonder if he will be able to watch it in jail? hoping she will be found safe.

My 23 year old law student girlfriend is wearing Ariel Pajamas, is she not an adult?

I think that's adorable. It is the sugarcoated 'happily ever after' formula part of Disney that I think we all come to realise in our development towards adulthood is just not how life really is. Escapism has its place, but it is only a small part of a much bigger picture.

No, I just think that the fantasy has lost its appeal at this point...I think she was probably flattered when TC first started paying attention to her and he may have justified it by telling her how mature for her age she was. She likely tried to act older around him at first so he would think she was mature for 15, but I think all this time on the run has probably started to wear her down. I'm not saying any of this is her fault at all. A lot of teenagers act older to try and impress people, it's completely normal.

At the point where you idolize a Disney movie, rather than appreciate the art, is a sign of immaturity, you're right. I think there's even some indications that the victim doesn't recognize such a distinction. Good point.

I agree. I think this will end with them being discovered, or her wanting to go home.

Whichever comes first.

Must just be me. Not a Disney fan. I pictured them arguing about the music in the car, generational differences like that. In terms of the princessy stuff, I imagined her trying to be all grown up, but I guess he didn't fixate on her for adult qualities.

I think he is fairly immature too based on his hanging out with the kids at lunch instead of his peers and his sappy instagram posts. So maybe there is some crossover if she tries to act more mature. Maybe? And he does have that gangster beanie and shades going on. ;)

Immature enough to rationalize illegally running away with a girl young enough to be his grandchild.

The Instagram posts that seem to be about/to her and draw her likes started about 14 weeks ago. The last pic of Tad and his wife that he posted was about 90 weeks ago.

More than immaturity, that may be his irrationality and delusional thinking. ;)

Just got back from a spring break cruise with our two children. Without a passport you need a birth certificate to get on. No way without it. Saw people get very angry when they didn't have what was needed.

I'm behind maybe that kind of cruise wasn't what was being talked about.

Another thing about if they tried to legally exit the country. A minor requires both parents permission to leave the country, even with one parent. So even if he somehow tried to pass as her father, they'd need permission from her mother. At least that is how it's supposed to work.

Agreed. Traveled many times with my kids alone and it's difficult at times. Always carry what I need and my kids have diplomatic passports- still when alone with them I have to have a notarized letter.

Edit- twice I didn't get asked for the letter. But my kids have passports. Traveling in general is easier with passports.

I agree. It isn't that difficult to take a cruise, like a lot of people are thinking.
Ya I posted about that in last thread

And there are cameras everywhere at Disney World.

jmo

But there's so many tourist. Wouldn't it be hard to locate them especially if he shaves his beard maybe wears a hat and sunglasses. She could cut her hair, color it, wear a pony tail and ditch her glasses or even wear sunglasses. It would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. IMHO.
