Where do you think they would live on a boat?

You can go down the TN River and be in numerous lakes on a boat. A couple cities around Smith Lake, we don't drive our car. We get on the boat, dock at a business can shop and eat.

Right, he would have had to work that day and likely it was a normal work day for his wife since she was working in administration. Maybe he dropped her off at work on the guise of this interview and then came home and packed up the car.

Kat confirmed that Elizabeth's other sister did not question her when she said to call the cops if she wasn't home by 6:00. Also, according to what I've read, all Elizabeth said was that she was going to see a friend. So, in one sense, she was ok with going to meet him but on the other hand she was afraid of what was going to happen. I'm just thinking out loud here and trying to make sense of it all...

I'm wondering about the context of that statement. If she just out of the blue said "If I/m not back by 6 call the cops" I'd think that would have raised a huge red flag and there would have been further questions.

On the other hand, if she was headed out the door and someone asked where she was going/with who/would she be back for dinner, then I could picture her answering with a sarcastic, flippant "If I'm not back..." without that causing any alarm. If it's the latter, it makes more sense, and I wouldn't read much into it.

I'd also hope that her family has checked for any missing valuables (jewelry, etc) that she might have taken with the plan of pawning/selling.

The thing about a boat in that area is you can get to 3 different counties off the grid. You can also hide your car and get to a gated, secluded house or trailer that is closed up until Memorial Day and hide out.

Let the boat go and the owner thinks he didn't tie it well when it is found the next day.

I highly doubt anyone (LE and the School) did ANY investigation. It wasn't until they fled and the FBI got involved did we find out that they were sending love notes back and forth via the SCHOOL'S email system.

Again, the school didn't terminate him on the 14th because of the sexual encounter (kiss) in January. They terminated him based on the AMBER ALERT.

What you posted said the cops told the school they were investigating and the school turned everything over to them.

His wife knew there was an investigation, she contacted those cops the day he left.

Definitely gluten free food, since she has an allergy to wheat. I'm wondering if he already had a place waiting on them?

It was mentioned that she has a wheat and tomato allergy - perhaps the sister can elaborate? Is this an "upset stomach/itchy rash/etc" type of allergy, or something more serious? If it's something where she'd need an epi-pen or other medical treatment, then I'd suggest putting out word to hospitals/clinics/pharmacists/EMTs and also be alert for any drug store robberies, in case she has a reaction.

In AL at least, you need identification to pawn, unless you find some shady people, but they generally don't want the "receiving stolen property" because they didn't get an ID.

Some on earlier thread suggested it was an attempt to control the timeline and give them time to get away before alerting LE. Apparently LE was alerted earlier.

It could be a place to hide out until things calm down and more plans are made. All homes aren't close to a Marina.

Well since you guys aren't feeling my boat suggestion, I won't persue. I was going to email some of the sellers in the ($4000-$5000) price range but it sounds like you guys think RV's are more logical. I know nothing about RVing but I'm going to start at the Huntsville/Decatur Craigslist and see what I can find.

Really interested in searching the dark web for posts, it's very simple. But don't have a computer to do it on, because of the industry I work in I can't use any of my personal devices as they have sensitive info that could theoretically be found and used, then we would have a websleuth's forum for me. Can anyone suggest a device to use or way to search the dark web (TOR) that wouldn't be putting my personal info at risk.

Doubt anyone would be fishing for food. What are they doing for food now? They are hiding somewhere.

Decatur is on the area to have many empty homes and trailers to hide put in, there are several lakes there and the river.

I thought about 'stolen license plates' and this case: I thought Pervert would NOT steal lic' plates prior to the kidnapping because people would report them stolen to police. My GUESS is that Pervert could very easily stop and steal license plates from so many sorts of place, EG, small apartment complexes using just a little penlight - my GUESS is Pervert would be stealing license plates every day now....

To me, it would make more sense if he stole plates just once - but took them from somewhere that they are unlikely to be missed. For example, a wrecked car that's been sitting at a garage/tow lot for a long time, or a vehicle that's obviously not running and is parked in tall grass/behind a barn, that sort of thing. If someone eventually does notice that the plates are gone, they won't know when they disappeared, and would be unlikely to associate it with this case.
