With ET having a gluten and tomato allergy it does make it quite a bit more difficult for him to have stocked safe food supplies for her to eat. Wheat is hidden in virtually everything these days and buying gluten free things to eat is way more expensive than non gluten items. Much harder to survive on peanut butter and crackers or tuna sandwiches with an allergy.

DO they snap pictures of all plates or just vehicles without a toll transponder? Seems odd they would snap photos of every plate and even if every plate were captured that they would compile data and run searches on it.
JUST my opinion
That I'm not sure of

The Gulf of Mexico is the place that most people from this area prefer. That could be from TX over to the Keys in FL.

Actually, summer travel form Mid TN is usually to the Destin area and Myrtle Beach.

Two places they are least likely to be.

The above is my opinion only.

I posted earlier in the thread about my own leanings. Even though I didn't include a boat as one of the most likely scenarios, in my opinion, I don't think it makes sense to make fun of or respond sarcastically to the people who suggested it.

As I have mentioned previously, I live near a large number of lakes and boating to many here is as common as driving. If the perpetrator or missing person has a lot of experience boating (do we know if Tad did or not?), I might be willing to entertain this idea a little more. For me, with what I know now, it seems more likely they might be borrowing (or renting) a small seasonal cottage/cabin on a remote rural lake somewhere...

Still, I think a boat is a valid idea and no idea should we discouraged. We are all trying to be helpful and there would be no harm in contacting people behind private boat sales or marinas.

I think they are holed up somewhere cold and hungry, worried and looking over their shoulders constantly.

He's not a man who makes dreams come true.

Her sister said she took her sisters bathing suit. He wants to lure ET by taking her somewhere exotic.

They are a straight shot down 65 to the Gulf being in AL in an hour, you can be at the Gulf about 6 hours after crossing the state line.

He has also been posting from The Gulf previously. If you like the Beach there is a world of difference in the Gulf and the Atlantic.

Also Destin and San Destin are in The Gulf. I'm about 1.5 hours from Decatur and I can be in San Destin in about 4.5 hours.

I find this one interesting as well. Maybe sleeping in vehicle near a lake. Wherever they are I think it's near a body of water. That's why she took a swimsuit.

Think in terms of three meals per day, plus snacks — you probably can't stock too many cookies and other treats, especially if you have children to feed.

Gluten-Free Cereal Lists
Gluten-Free Crackers
Gluten-Free Potato Chips
Gluten-Free Tortilla Chips
Gluten-Free Multigrain Chips
Best Gluten-Free Cookies
2. Shelf-stable milk. While you can eat your cereal without milk, you'll certainly prefer to have it the regular way. If you consume dairy, you can find shelf-stable cow's milk in most stores. If, on the other hand, you prefer soy milk, nut milk or rice milk, it's possible your usual selection already is shelf-stable. Get plenty.

3. Hard cheeses. Although cheese should be refrigerated under normal circumstances, hard cheeses — Swiss, cheddar and Gouda, for example — last for several days or longer without refrigeration. Hikers report they do just fine with cheese on days-long hikes in very warm conditions. If you can handle dairy, cheese could be a good source of safe calories for you in an emergency.

4. Canned or boxed gluten-free soups. We're fortunate that many soup manufacturers now make safe products for us to consume.

Look for soups that are ready-to-eat (as opposed to those that need water added), since in a pinch you can eat them cold. Oh, and don't forget a clean can opener for your emergency kit.

5. Canned meat, chicken or fish. If you eat meat, these can provide some quick protein, even cold.

6. Dried fruit and nuts, plus chocolate. If you don't eat meat, nuts and nut butters can get you that needed protein, while dried fruit is a reasonably healthy snack that keeps for months. And of course chocolate is an essential food for any emergency.

I think that is a possible short term strategy if something in their get away plan failed.

Did they panic when the AA went out and that panic cause them to "hunker down"? Possibly, but they should have been well out in front of the AA.

If they are in a boat, it is good to know where they might be frequenting and how they would get around. In other words, what their locale looks like.

I hope they are not in that boat. That might feel a lot like being trapped. Feeling trapped would raise the risk of violence.

The above is my opinion only.

One big thing, if you can get to Miami you can easily get on a boat to the Bahamas. It isn't very far at all. I've done that several times.

You are fortunate to be so close to the sandy white beaches of the gulf.

Since so many people from Mid TN go there, that would be a very risky place for them to be, long term.

They may have gone there on their way to somewhere else, but, I don't think they would linger there.

The above is my opinion only.

Did you need identification for that?

If so, do you think they have fake IDs?

The above is my opinion only.

They didn't leave just to plan to hang around local. I think they are taking risk as he has nothing to loose. He's a dreamer and is in search of paradise. I believe he researched laws etc on how he will get off without too much jail time if any.

The Gulf is huge and once you pass into FL you can drive down to The Keys. Many of those areas are very "mind our business" places and paying someone to take them to the Bahamas would be no big deal. Boats are going back and forth constantly.
