I'm sure they can but at this point there is no indication of any place to check. If people here could take different areas, we could cover the country quickly and report anything we saw to LE for them to check.

Keeping both eyes peeled here in Nashville. You just never know.

I have had two people personally tell me "how dare your sister ruin this marriage. He was a perfect man before she came along".

What the heck is wrong with people?! This is a 15 year old!! I get that she looks older, but I'm not so old myself that I don't remember being that age. My heart really goes out to poor ET. Jump in here and post if any of you need some moral support - I don't think anyone here believes TC was a "perfect man," especially given the revelation he was trying to groom other young people.

(My heart goes out to TC's wife, too, but she's going to have to face facts about him and this at some point or another. He could well do jail time when found, even with TN's lax child protection laws.)

I am just not on board that they have help. Or should I say he does. This is his gig and cant see him sharing any of it with anybody. When it became public and the pressure was on him, he spirited her away. I just pray she is ok. He has lost everything other than his sick fantasy. It pains me to type this but the fact reported he has 2 weapons concerns me greatly. IMO.

Ugh.. This is so worrisome.. In this media packet, assuming all on his CV was verified, there is nothing I'm seeing in his application process that wouldn't make you want to hire him to teach at your school, of course not knowing what we all now know.

He passed the background check, gave good answers. That is just terrifying and this kind of thing happening, could easily make someone want to homeschool.

He has done respiratory care also for pediatric patients. Abusing any child is bad enough but I hope he didn't abuse any in addition to the child being sick and him being responsible for their care.

Normal adults who just want to help don;t sing love songs in a room alone with a female student they're "close to". Every last thing we have heard about this guy and his interactions with students screams that he is a practiced predator who know exactly how to groom young girls, gain their trust and assault them in secret.

There is not one report that he acted this way with young boys he wanted to "help". But even if he had, this is boundary crossing in a major way and is simply purely indicative and characteristic of child molesters.

And now, he has kidnapped his latest young target, after exchanging multiple, "romantic" social media posts and emails with her, for a period of months.

This man is sick. He's a predator. This did not develop overnight, although his "skills" may have. But what's different here? He found the "perfect" victim. A very vulnerable naive little girl who was ripe for his abuse.

I'm not sure why we are bending over backward to make him out to be someone who just suddenly, for no apparent reason, fell into being a perverted criminal. The flags don't get any redder.

The email note he sent her commenting on her (body part, I assume ) seals the deal for me. He's been fantasizing about girls in his class for a while. JMO though

I'm not sure it matters how he rationalizes his desires. Not being snarky but don't most abusers rationalize their behavior?

Kat, this makes me so MAD! Your sister was a little girl! I have a 14 year old stepdaughter down the hall from me that I just put to bed. This man is a MONSTER.

I understand WSers wanting your dad to take your sisters out of that school, but your dad works, from what I understand. Those girls have a right to a public education in a safe school. None of us wants to sends our kids to a school where this happens. I really have a mind to call the school myself tomorrow so that they know the world is watching. I'm a former teacher, and I cannot believe the way the school is responding.

If your sisters are being bullied at school by adults (I assume teachers?!), then an adult in your family needs to step in and handle this through the proper authorities. THAT should never be allowed to happen. Not ever.

I would want to transfer to another school in the area. Never would I want to go back to this horrible school if I was ET.

Ok finished reading the packet, great recommendations given by former employers, not ok ones, but very good ones. I saw nothing on there that would just jump out at me and can't see why any school wouldn't hire him based on what I've read in that.

Now I wonder.. were the references less than honest or was he able to continue that facade and seem to have zero employment issues before now?
