agree, kapua. and IMO there was never a watercraft plan.

he had one plan, and it involved cialis, ky, and a mattress.

mods, delete this if necessary. i completely understand. but JMO, this is the prosecution's sole defense, i.e. a sexual motive. even if TC retains a public defender with zero competence or experience, my fear is TC could possibly escape with a minimum sentence...

But you can't let a kid run away alone when you are Bond. James Bond. This is his grandiose 'protection' story. He is all sorts of messed up.

So perhaps we just drove through. All I know is I've never been stopped between these two cities and we traveled there quite a bit.

I can confirm this I visit SD quite often we drive right through no one is ever there.

Maybe he's been writing Jodi arias to get tips. .... we know how well she comes up with logical plans and road trips.

That news story is fake news. US Border Patrol internal check points are well documented.

United States Border Patrol interior checkpoints

Really? Even Brietbart had an article saying it was fake news. I don't normally read Brietbart but because I was googling checkpoints I read several stories to make sure.

At any rate its totally possible and probable that we just drove through. I do know about a dozen times I've driven between San Diego and LA I've never been stopped. Thats all I know:).

The other case that I really got caught up in on this forum is the Charli Scott/Steven Capobianco case.

And I learned my lesson about never believing an alibi if it cannot be corroborated by another witness or source (video camera, etc.)

In the Capobianco case, he'd told multiple people that his truck had broken down the night before Charli went missing (was murdered). At the trial, there were like 4 witnesses and a video camera that proved that was not true. But the fake alibi was published in MSM repeatedly.

Maybe TC bought a small boat or a "watercraft" or maybe he did not. But as long as TC is the only source of that information, I remain skeptical. :waiting:

IMHO

:cow:

The LA Times news story talking about the social media posts is true. The social media posts about "deportation checkpoints" are false...fake news.

See reply to Kaboom. :) I may be misunderstanding both of you. There is a difference between the social media fake news about deportation checkpoints and the border control stations we are talking about. See my reply upthread.

I don't know if we were actually stopped or waved through, but the checkpoints are very obvious as Kaboom's video showed. Probably less so in the daytime, unless you see people running off the freeway.

Yeah I'm on board and understand.

All I know is I personally haven't been stopped in a dozen or so trips between the cities nor have I seen people running on the freeway.

I got the AA in MS on 3/15, so maybe they came through here?

Maybe this was the route taken from TN. They headed to Decatur, AL. Then, they crossed into MS. From MS they went .... Well, there are several ways to get to where they were found by traveling through nine states, right?

OK and KS have many toll booths along the interstates. Toll booths also have cameras so they likely drove two lane highways. If Mexico was the destination, they could have gotten there from TX. I don't understand the plan for a boat. Can one use a small watercraft to travel near the Pacific shoreline of CA to Mexico? Sounds treacherous to me. Or did TC have a river route in mind?

The Daily Mail is sensationalistic, exploitative, and has the journalistic ethics of the average dumpster fire. I want to take a shower every time I finish reading it. Yet I can't seem to give it up no matter how hard I've tried. I'm thinking about starting a support group for fellow sufferers. "My name is MsMtOlympus and I'm addicted to the Daily Mail."

LOL! This is so true for me also. I so identified with what you said. I alas have to join your support group. Thank you for the chuckle. (However, I can appreciate that I cannot believe everything I read online no matter the source). JMO.
