Both posts on the Dickson Police Department FB are gone. Nothing out of the media on the resolution of her case either.

The family has likely asked for privacy. LE will respect that in circumstances that aren't a result of a crime, when no evidence of foul play is present.

Breaking: Body Located In Humphreys County; Matches Description of Missing Dickson County Woman

Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis says that his deputies responded to a call of a possible deceased person in a vehicle at Pebble Isle Marina. When arriving deputes found the remains of the female inside the vehicle.

I don't know if they edited their post and added the following excerpt as I am just seeing this, but they also use her name and say that the remains appear to match.
So sad.

Sheriff Davis confirms that the vehicle contained the remains of woman who appeared to match that of a missing woman from Dickson, Melanie Vineyard who was reported missing July 2nd.

RIP Melanie. I was so worried about her, as her FB hardly had any photos of herself, as her posts were mostly about her daughter. IMO, I just felt a total absence of Melanie. I hope she finds the peace she was looking for, and prayers for her husband and her children.

Dickson woman’s body found at river marina, officials say
The body of a Dickson woman reported missing since July 2 was found Saturday in a vehicle at a Tennessee River marina, according to Dickson Police and Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office officials.

Authorities found the body of Melanie Vineyard at Pebble Isle Marina in New Johnsonville, according to Humphreys County Chief Deputy Rob Edwards.
