charged (5/25/20), arraigned (10/26/20) & indicted (10/28/20) with 4 counts (3/31/17) of 1st degree murder, 13 counts (6/13/16) of aggravated child abuse/neglect/endangerment, 3 counts (8/20/18) of aggravated child abuse/neglect/endangerment, 9 counts (6/13/16) of aggravated kidnapping, 6 counts (6/13/16) of especially aggravated kidnapping-attempts, 5 counts (6/13/16) of falsifying education & academy records, 1 count (6/13/16) of theft of property ($60K-$250K) & 1 count (3/31/17) of abuse of a corpse. Plead not guilty. $500K bond. DA will seek the DP. Roane County
Trial set to begin on 11/4/24 for Michael only.
*Charged (11/5/20) & arraigned (11/20/20) with felony murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated child neglect, abuse of a corpse and Tenncare fraud & theft. Plead not guilty. Bond denied. Knox County

*Shirley Ann Gray (60/now 63) arrested (5/20/20),

11/1/23 Update: Roane County: Shirley: Motions hearing continues on 11/2/23. 11/2/23 Update: Motions hearing was cancelled & trial was continued from 3/4/24 to 7/26/24. Next motions hearings on 2/29/24, 3/1, 3/18 to 3/20/24 all @ 9am.
11/3/23 Update: Knox County: Both: Status hearing on 11/6/23 has been rescheduled on 11/27/23.
11/23/23 Update: Roane County for Michael: Status hearings on 3/4/24, 3/5, 3/6. 3/7 & 3/8/24 all @ 9am. Trial set to begin on 11/4/24 @ 9am.

Trial was set to begin on 5/30/23 was continued with no further dates.
