This i=could be a possible match but I am unsure about the date she was reported missing in November of 1999. Would that be a reasonable timeline for the remains to be skeletal? Also she was last seen leaving her home going to Murfreesboro.

This is an interesting potential, @Dylansmom08! IMO, 1999 - 2020 would certainly be long enough for her remains to be skeletonized. I don't see anything that provides any clues on how long Jane Doe has been deceased. There's no PMI or EYOD given for JD nor is there any info given on the manufacturing dates of the clothing and wig found. Laresha reportedly has " One of her upper front teeth is capped or trimmed in gold and inscribed with the letter "D." The photos below appear to show that feature on her upper left tooth. I'd imagine that would be a really good clue to share with the public if JD's teeth were found with her remains. I suppose Laresha's teeth could have gotten knocked out if she met with foul play or pulled out if her killer(s) were trying to disguise her identity. I think she's worth mentioning to LE/NamUs rep who should have a better idea about JD's YOD and dentals.

I find it interesting and sad that her mother was abducted some years before she was I can't imagine how heartbroken the family must be to have so much tragedy to come to their family. I don't know if Laresha is this unidentified but I will write it up and submit it hopefully they will take a look and if it's not her maybe it will stir some interest in her and her mothers cases and get someone to take a second look.

Remains from Mt. Herman Road identified

DNA testing identified the remains as Shontisha Marie Rutland of Nashville, who was supposed to be celebrating her 23rd birthday this month, said Capt. Britt Reed of the RCSO Criminal Investigations Division.

“The cause of death is still pending,” Reed said.
