that's the problem i have with violence against violence.

i'm not saying i don't feel that's what i'd like to happen. i'm saying where does that leave us as to what we would like to believe us as civilised -- and this isn't a cop against you, deandaniellws, it's, in fact, questioning MY first thoughts.

believe me, i have initial feelings of wanting this . . . monster . . . hung, drawn and quartered. slowly.

I will never understand why people hurt children! What makes a mind so freaking sick that they want to do these kinds of things? It is really scary and disgusting. My heart hurts for the parents of this poor child.

"Criminal Court has convened in Chattanooga where lawyers are expected to pick a jury for the trial of a man accused of killing his girlfriend's young son.

This is the second attempt to pick a jury to hear the case against Nicholas Todd Hilt.

Last month, Judge Doug Meyer called Hilt "the scum of the earth" after the accused made several outbursts in front of potential jurors.

Meyer then halted jury selection and then removed himself from the case. "

A Criminal Court jury on Thursday afternoon ruled Nicholas Hilt guilty of first-degree murder in the death of five-year-old Nathaniel Upshaw, then determined that he should serve life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The jury in the courtroom of Judge Don Poole also found Hilt guilty of child rape and aggravated child abuse.
