Martin testifies about in an person 'brainstorming' meeting about killing Lorenzen Wright that followed with Sherra Wright, Billy Turner and a pregnant woman nearby present (Claudia Robinson, who testified she overheard meeting earlier in the trial).

Martin said in 2010, Sherra Wright visited her in MS & that 'Ren needed someone to take care of his Rottweilers, said they went together to her house in Collierville & subject matter changed from 'taking care of his dogs' to instead being asked & 'employed to kill Lorenzen Wright

Martin testified that they also discussed possible locations to do the hit, INCLUDING Atlanta, where Lorenzen Wright lived at the time & it was decided the person who was going do it was going to be "ME", said there was a lot of pressure but didn't feel indebted to Sherra Wright.

Martin said Sherra Wright had just gotten back from Atlanta & left some windows intentionally unlocked at Lorenzen's townhouse & said person who would be accompanying him to Atlanta would be Billy Turner & that he wasn't surprised it was him since he had been at earlier meetings.

Martin on that drive, he and Turner agreed that things "were getting too ridiculous" in the attempted hit of Lorenzen Wright and said Turner to him he called Sherra Wright to tell her that "nothing happened".

Martin said inside the condo, he and Turner approached a man, noticed he was much smaller sleeping on the couch and NOT LORENZEN WRIGHT, said they got "within arm's distance" and left condo when they realized it wasn't Lorenzen, closed the windows behind them. #LorenzenWright

Martin said he and Turner entered through a backside, first side window, doesn't remember who pushed the window up but they both got in with a small climb in and entered a game room with Playstation and pool table, then headed to living room/den to the left.

Jimmie Martin agreed to immunity deal in 2012 where he told investigators - under oath - he helped clean up the crime scene and drove to MS to throw the murder weapon in a MS lake with the accused killer. The prosecution has yet to ask Martin about his whereabouts night of crime.

Martin said he was in Batesville, MS the night of the crime, he believed he was with family, at home or at his brother's house. Martin said he met with Sherra Wright and Billy Turner a day or two after #LorenzenWright was shot and killed.

Martin said he didn't know what had happened to Lorenzen Wright at the time but said Sherra Wright and Billy Turner were "a little spooked, a little shaky" and not answering questions fully. (a day or two after the crime).

Martin said three or four days after crime, Sherra sees Martin again after she drove to Martin's MS home, where Martin's mother had a metal detector to give to Sherra, said he didn't know why she needed a metal detector.

Martin said they rode together and on way to Memphis, they talked about they needed to "find a gun" that Sherra said: "the murder of Lorenzen had gone through"

In a 2012 statement, Martin said only #BillyRayTurner shot at #LorenzenWright. Today, he testified that both Sherra Wright and Turner were shooting at him - 2 guns. @LawCrimeNetwork

Testifying now is Michael Gibson. He says he lived with Lorenzen Wright in the Atlanta area. He said he usually slept on the couch. Yesterday Martin referenced someone sleeping on the couch when he and Turner allegedly went to that home with the intent to kill Wright.

Cross examination is over. Hagerman says of all the statements Martin has given police they all included a plan to kill Wright that included Sherra and Martin, a trip to ATL to kill Wright and the disposal of a gun in a Mississippi Lake.

Martin says the investigator's question was only 'what did Billy do' so he said Turner was shooting. "I didn't say Billy was using both guns at the same time." Martin said. He said that's why he left out the part about Sherra also shooting at Wright that he testified to today.

Today Martin testified he was told Turner and Sherra both were firing shots at Wright. The defense references a statement Martin made in 2012 where he said only Turner did the shooting with both guns. Defense now playing that statement to the court

The trial of Billy Ray Turner resumes today. Since the jury is sequestered the court will work through the weekend. The first witness today is someone working in an undercover capacity so no video or ID'ing. Here's the latest
