N.C. man arrested after showing up to Nashville hospital, saying he tried to kill his mom
Jack Walker, 27, came to General Hospital with superficial scratches on his hands and said he tried to kill his mom and that she might be dead. After police reported finding Walker's mother's 2016 Jeep in the hospital parking garage with a bloody shirt in the passenger seat, they called the Polk County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina.
Deputies went to check on Cindy Walker and found her dead with apparent trauma in her home.
North Carolina authorities have sworn out a homicide warrant against Walker. He is charged in Nashville with being a fugitive from justice. Metro Police expect to have him returned to North Carolina in the coming days.
