Deceased/Not Found TN - Nichole Burgess, 36, Hermitage, 23 May 2014 *C. Cannon guilty*

Sorry to jump in on y'alls discussion so late.
From the first the thing that most convinced me Miss Burgess did not leave of her own will was her dogs. I know she has kids, but the dogs not being crated and left on their own really sealed it for me. I can't recall hearing of a person skipping town and leaving behind helpless pets, but you do hear of parents skipping out on kids.

The child who said he believed his dad killed Nichole, well, that makes me believe there must have been violence at dad's hand in his presence in the past. Surely CC wouldn't be stupid, high, or low enough to include that baby in his disposal of her body. If so, God be with you, Little Man. Ugh.

Thanks for reading and thank you for keeping her story going.

My heart goes out to her family, especially her 10 year old son. I can't imagine what he's dealing with.

I'm working behind the scenes and if I find anything I'm absolutely going to report it to LE. Fetlife is like any other social media website, you can disable your profile but keep it there .. I found her profile (as I said before, we weren't "friends" but there is a connection). Im just trying to get an idea if was in any groups over there at the time etc. Our privacy polices prevent a lot of google cache, so some things I can see the public cannot.

My interest is seeing if she wrote any blogs at all, even if deleted it's on the server. Many people, including myself - feel much more at ease and less judged when I wrote on FL. For one your family isn't on there ;) Before the site overhaul the website worked more like friendster a bit.

If you can have nsfw content on your computer it wouldn't hurt to sign up and register on fetlife, just so you can get a feel for the layout. But please be cautious and considerate. I just helps to understand what Im talking about if you can see it. I'm only bringing it back up because of blogs, groups being belonged to and mutual friends - on a website that's very laid back.

I wonder if being on there wasn't the pitfall to cause the erasing of all social media content by a controlling significant other.

Video at link includes an interview with the neighbor and a little more detail than the published report:

http://www.wkrn.com/story/25833036/police-working-diligently-to-find-missing-hermitage-mother

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron told News 2 Friday that police are still actively working to find Burgess, who went missing May 23. He said police are investigating the case as a homicide.

“The case remains very much under investigation. There are pieces of the puzzle that have not come together to this point. We are working this case diligently, persons are being interviewed,” Aaron said, adding, “Our priority is to find Ms. Burgess. Frankly, we expect ultimately it will be the remains of Ms. Burgess.”

Aaron said police continue to receive tips from the community and that those tips have proven to be helpful. He also said police continue to conduct interviews and had several this week.

Friends of the missing Hermitage mother set up a donation booth Sunday to collect funds for the woman's family at a local tattoo shop for their annual fan appreciation event.

Brittany McCann, a friend of Nichole “Nikki” Burgess, will be manning the booth at Kustom Thrills in east Nashville for their Rock n’ Rodz event.

The event is frequented by those associated with Nashville’s “Kustom Kulture,” a group which Burgess was a part of that is devoted to keeping alive vintage trends, such as pin-ups, classic cars and fashion, from the late 1940s-1950s.

McCann hopes to bring attention to Burgess’ disappearance and help support her family during their time of need.

“We need to raise awareness and money for her family, and hopefully we can accomplish that a little bit here today,” she told News 2.

Wonderful thing to do for the family. The friend also explained exactly what the money collected was for which is always nice.

I hear you. I'm quite curious as to what Nashville PD's spokesman was talking about when he said some things hadn't "come together yet". Based on his comment, it seems there is a critical piece they feel is missing.

Nashville has gotten murder convictions without a body before - notably against Perry March for the murder of his wife Janet - so they do have experience trying that sort of case.

You would think blood, weapons and a witness would help...

Video at link:

http://www.fox17.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/woman-accused-interfering-search-missing-midstate-mom-meagan-ohalloran-22155.shtml

A murder case takes an unusual twist when a relative is accused of interfering in the search for answers... On Saturday they say a woman started tearing down their fliers. Nikki's friends tell FOX 17 she is the mother of Caleb Cannon and he's a person of interest in this case.

"When she walked up, she reached her hand back and I thought she was going to hit my friend. That's when she reached up and tried to rip down the poster and I was also scared. We thought she was going to rear-end us, she was driving erratically " said Brittany McCann, who caught the whole thing on cell phone video.

WTF? Is his mother a loose cannon and ticking time bomb like her son? Maybe he inherited those traits from her.

http://www.newschannel5.com/story/2...ught-in-connection-with-burgess-disappearance

Police said they're looking for a second person in connection to the disappearance of Nikki Burgess...

Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday May 25, a neighbor told police he saw two people carry something out the back door of the house and move it to the car.

"We would like to positively identify both of those subjects if not, if not both of them at least one of them,” said Metro Police Cold Case Detective Kevin Akin. One person may be 31-year-old Caleb Cannon. Police have named the Anderson County resident a person of interest in the case.

I really wish they knew where to find poor Nikki. It's been so hot in TN. That worries me.

I thought he must be about 16, with his mom like that. Not 31. Good grief...

Nikki's boyfriend posted up a $1000 reward for information as to where her body is...I hope she is found soon.
