This happened a few months ago, and the little girl was found alive and dirty out in the middle of a field after 2 days. Of course it was about 20-30 degrees warmer at that time as well. Hopefully he was dressed decently for cold weather when he ventured off.

Unfortunately when he wandered off, it was sunny and 60 out. He had on jeans and a long-sleeved shirt.

Probably way off base but if we've got the location right, and there is a business run from there (vehicle repair shop), is it remotely plausible that a customer of the shop may have seen & taken a liking to this young, small, blonde boy? I hate to think this but it could explain why Noah can't be found :(

Not sure if the business is still open. I've seen some places that said it closed in 2014.

Anyone know how close this is to the Pinson Indian Burial Mounds?
Also the South Forked Deer River and all of the bottoms around that area are flooded due to recent rains.
It rained overnight and through some of the day today.
Come on little guy.
We need some good news on you!!!

And yes Tennlyn it was a beautiful day that day. Just gorgeous out.

Has it been said where Grandma and the kids went for a walk? Were the near the house?

This. Could this angel have made it back home? I so hope his home area is being searched too. Gut feeling is that this sweetie is not too far from where his grandma last saw him. These missing babies/kids are so hard.

It is my understanding that the business moved to a new location at some point a year or two ago. But I think since then, the whole thing has been shut down.

Good thought. Or perhaps he went out to the road and somebody snatched him? Just a thought.

I don't think you are way off base, we need to think of all alternatives. I pray and pray for this little one to be safe.

Sheriff is asking for more volunteers to search overnight. Such a refreshing and welcome change from LE who often won't let volunteers search and hours go by where a child could have been saved.

Prayers for this little one. Prayers for a volunteer who hikes off with a "hunch" and discovers this child. It's beginning to look bleak.

I found Noah's mother's FB page in a round about way. Nothing much there, except a heartbreakingly cute picture of the happy family. Oh, please, please, please let him be safe.

Why do these little tykes not cry when they realize there is no one around them? It is amazing to me that when a child is immediately missed, we never hear a report of them being found from crying.

Those who cry out when they are lost are found immediately so there would be no emergency call made. The child would be out of family's sight, would cry out, and be found and that would take place within 5 minutes - so it doesn't make the news cycle.

This is just beyond heartbreaking! I have 3 grandsons this age and can barely stand to read anything about it. :(

Have they used helicopters with thermal imaging?

Yes. Thermal imaging ones and also big copters - I think National Guard ones but I'd have to check - sheriff said the helicopters had all kinds of equipment for searching, didn't say what.

ETA: I can't find the article with the thermal imaging quote, just helicopter search by air, so I may have misspoken. I did see this though: "Troopers with THP were on the ground searching as well as using a helicopter to look from the air Thursday."

Additional Army Air National Guard helicopters came in today.

Oh God what a nightmare for the family! I hope they find him very very soon.

Also hope none of the volunteers gets hurt searching in the dark. God speed and God bless!

Organizers say there have been a number of injuries to volunteers, rough terrain to blame. @WBBJ7News #FindNoah

:( But wow, what a caring community! :loveyou:

Noah went missing at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday in the woods near his grandparents' house off Short Road in Chester County, just south of Pinson. He was out walking in the woods with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister, authorities have said. Madison County Sheriff's Office spokesman Tom Mapes said they had sat down to talk, and the grandmother was paying attention to the sister and turned to find Noah gone.

Mapes said that there is no suspicion of foul play in Noah's disappearance.

"At this point, there is no suspicion of foul play," he said. "This is still being treated as a missing child."
