Searchers are no longer confirmed missing. All volunteers are being brought back to old Pinson School.

Searchers are not confirmed missing anymore. Volunteers are being brought out of the woods and back to the old Pinson School.

Huh? Does that mean they were found or were never missing? <scratches head>

@MrTVClassics When I left they were confirmed lost, but that seems to have changed. They aren't missing now, officially speaking.

@MrTVClassics Sorry, I know that's a sketchy answer. This part is complicated, but organizers are expecting confirmation they're found now.

Thank you so much margarita25. Praying for a miracle here too. It's all we have besides positive thoughts and prayers. Wish we were all close and could help. Wonderful community there in Tennessee though.

Ray of hope:

The 6 searchers may have forgot to sign out. Each searcher signs in and is assigned a number. If they fail to sign out, they are assumed to be lost in the woods. A search is then initiated for them. It is a common mistake when large numbers of volunteer searchers are utilized and likely what happened tonight, imo..

What a nice post from Noah's Mamma. Bless her heart! In all the turmoil she is in, she took a minute to let everyone know how thankful she is for their help.

Or maybe they were able to get reception and called to say how the heck do we get back out of here, we are lost?

Whatever the case, so glad that has been resolved. Foxfire, your experience is a valuable asset here, as always. (Foxfire has been working with CUE, helped search for Holly Bobo and even was part of an atv search team recently that actually recovered a missing man's remains in the woods iirc).

Realistically how long can one be in the elements and still be ok? I know it's horrible to fathom but is it still possible he is ok? I want to keep my hope alive but am just so scared for this family, his loved ones and the whole community. So unfair.

She seems to really be strong, out there searching, keeping herself together.

I'm so worried about this little boy! It's been so cold at night here in TN, and chilly during the day but at least sunny. You can see how muddy the ground is in the pictures too. But so often they will later find a child where they searched before, and I'm praying they will find him soon. The leaves look deep and would have some warmth in them.

Someone was asking about wildlife in that area --> anything that can live in the woods of Eastern North America. :(

I'm amazed with all that mud they haven't found a shoe or a piece of clothing. If there was a bear or coyote attack, they would find evidence.

are the houses close? I missed any photos of the house. Did grandma have to go to house to call for help?
did she have a cell? who came first to help her? neighbor?

Yes bless her and her family.
Is there a dad also?
was it the maternal or paternal grandma watching the children?
where parents working or just a grandma day visits?

Not many details have been released except that he was with his grandmother and sister in the woods behind his house and it was reported at 1:19pm. "Madison County Sheriff's Office spokesman Tom Mapes said Noah, his grandmother and four-year-old sister sat down to talk while in the woods and when the grandmother turned around, he was gone.

'They sat down to talk and she was paying attention to the granddaughter, and when she turned around he was gone,' Mapes said. 'She immediately went to look for him.'"

Here in CO there are soooo many weirdos imo up in the mountains, people living in the bushes, etc, I'm serious. This is a main reason why I do not go hiking up there alone anymore on the trails (not a good idea anyway, duh). To me it is not out of the question that there could have been a creepo in the woods, just lIke in the mountains up here. Maybe he had binoculars and was watching the house. Just a thought. (Didn't Holly Bobo's abductor emerge from the woods in camoflauge, then return there, per her brother's original statement?)

On social media she has described herself as a stay at home mom. The pic in the top left corner of her message is a family photo.

(I just had a horrible thought...what if all the foot traffic has patted down the soil firmer over top of him, if he's in a sinkhole... :( )
