GUILTY TN - Pamela Cooper, shot to death, Woodlawn, 23 July 2007

The sheriff's office this morning confirmed Pamela Cooper is the person deputies found dead in a pickup truck last night. She was an assistant principal at Kenwood High School.

A sheriff's spokesman says the department has taken out a felony homicide warrant on Cooper's former husband Andrew Cooper, who is the head boys basketball coach at Northwest High School.

People in the Woodlawn community called 911 yesterday evening, saying they heard a couple arguing, screams for help -- then a gunshot.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities in Clarksville say a woman shot to death in western Montgomery County was an assistant school principal and the suspect is her ex-husband -- a coach.
