Very sad. He was an amazing talent! I had a huge crush on him back in the day.

Aww, that's sad. He seemed like such a nice person and was so talented. One of my favorite songs he wrote was "In the Ghetto". Beautiful. RIP

ALso noticed Helen Teddy passed yesterday. So many great artist from the 70s

Another classic he wrote was "Memories"--"Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind. Memories, sweeten through the ages just like wine." A lot of people only knew him for his country hits but he was an amazing songwriter.

It's hard to believe that the 70s was 40-50 years ago! It seems like yesterday or maybe just a few years ago. Reading through his Wiki bio, I was flooded with memories of times gone by.
Along with the songs listed above, another great song I liked was "Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me".

Mac Davis had many accomplishments over the years, both in music and the acting fields. So sorry to read of his passing. May he forever rest in peace.
