The "complainant" picked him up, Tanner was wearing shorts when he went missing, he must have done the tattoos after he was missing, that's for sure.

From the types of tattoos that this person has, I believe that he would likely to be in his late teens to early twenties. IMO I don't think older people would get those types of tattoos in terms of the design and quality. If those tattoos were indeed homemade, then this could indicate that perhaps he was too young to be legally tattooed.

I think they're the tattoos that a younger person might be likely to get, but at the same time, tattoos are for life--he could have gotten the tattoos in his late teens-early twenties but would still have them now. A lot of the people I know with tattoos now exclusively have tattoos from that time period in their lives.

Gucci Mane got his ice cream tat in 2011, so that tattoo would have to have been done after then. Soul eater was released as a manga in 2004 and the anime 2008. I have a feeling this fella probably has an instagram or facebook out there somewhere, these tattoos are pretty recognizable and I'm surprised no one has come forward yet.

Still wondering where the hart with "I love my mother" was. They posted this sketches of the tattoos, distinctively saying they were on his right leg, but that doesn't count for the hart.

He's got tattoos, and pics of those tattoos on the NAMUS listing, none of which match... but still....

ETA: was he ruled out already? Apologies if he was already discussed here. Just doing the best we can.

I think they're the tattoos that a younger person might be likely to get, but at the same time, tattoos are for life--he could have gotten the tattoos in his late teens-early twenties but would still have them now. A lot of the people I know with tattoos now exclusively have tattoos from that time period in their lives.

I had the same thought, but I don't know anyone who would have gotten these types of tattoos currently over the age of 30 or 35. The subject matter is still popular enough among younger people. I think the most likely explanation is this was a very young person who either had to hide these tattoos easily or he was not old enough to get tattooed in a shop and got them from a scratcher/did them himself.

I can't imagine a person with so many pop culture references tattooed on themselves wouldn't have social media out there somewhere.

I am going to look on Instagram and try different search tags for the tattoos. I tried a quick search for Gucci Mane tattoos. A lot of people have renditions of that ice cream cone. If anyone else would like to do some searches that would be great. My toddlers don't allow me to spend a lot of time doing research, but i will do what I can. I'm not that familiar with Twitter, does it work the same way as far as searching for hash tags? I will try fb later too.

Here's just a short summary of what we think of the John Doe:

1.) He was possibly a huge fan of anime/manga/cartoons, such as Soul Eater, the Simpsons and Power Rangers.
2.) He possibly liked ghosts - again probably his ghost tattoos could be a reference to his favourite cartoons/shows.
3.) One of his favourite hobbies could have likely been skateboarding.
4.) He was possibly a fan of Gucci Mane, maybe also liked listening to rap music (given Gucci Mane is a rapper).
5.) He was possibly born in 1997, and his star signs could have been Pisces or Cancer.

I believe that he could have really been in his late teens, or more likely, early twenties. As a person who was born in the late 90s, stuff like the Simpsons was still quite popular when we were growing up (personally I used to wait until 7.30pm every night to watch the Simpsons when I was a kid).

Still thinking about Brison Jack Treanton Miller, AKA Jason Rooks. This guy is young, into skateboarding and according to a post on his missing Facebook site he was always sketching...books full, also some art on his own Facebook site. https://www.facebook.com/brison.miller
His birthday is 20th January (post by, I suppose, his father), couldn't find his year of birth. BRISON MILLER MEMORIES His sign is Aquarius then.
His current age is 21. So it easily could be '97 (tattoo EST 97) I looked at his pictures, some of them with skateboards, but I couldn't find anything on them that reminded me of the tattoos. Maybe somebody else can. Or maybe someone of a younger generation can find other social media posts.

Is the guy in the red shorts in the middle of the Facebook page the missing guy? Iam looking at his legs and almost looks like he has random tats all over his legs. The photo is not clear but look at the dark splotches ..

Are you talking about the photo in the top banner on the Facebook page? That is one of the past photos of the boys standing together. The kid wearing the red shorts could have been Brison Miller though.

Looking at this I thought-- why have so many tattoos on one leg but not the other? Perhaps it indicates they are home done tattoos he drew himself? Would this indicate anything about which hand was likely his dominate hand? Right hand might be easier to reach his right leg? It might not tell us much if he was right handed but it could rule out anyone known to be left handed... Maybe? Great work, anyway!

Yes! That is the photo but now I am looking at the Image that coffeeandacig made and i dont think what Iam seeing could be the tattoos, at least not in the right spots..
