Right on. Get points. Especially the weapon.Yes, I'm wondering about this, too. Maybe a drug deal gone bad or a robbery by people who didn't want a witness.
I'm still puzzled about him being dressed in an overcoat, zipped up, two pairs of pants and keys in his hand. Had he just come in from outside? Was the heat not working in his home, thus the need to wear extra clothing?
Nothing explains the back door though or the house being ransacked (per family). The saw sounds like some sort of home made weapon. Duct tape handle? Duct tape is sometimes used on weapons to prevent leaving fingerprints, right?
Without knowing more, JMO, it was a drug deal gone bad or he owed dealer money. At first, LE probably wanted to let it go figuring the victim did drugs and was killed by a dealer, so no need to investigate because the victim was living a risky lifestyle. I don't agree, but it's possible for some LE.
I can't help but wonder if it was just a bad drug deal, why decapitation? Maybe they had plans of disposing his body, but they were spooked by something? Maybe it was to send a broader message? And what was the pit bull doing during the attack? Hiding? Running loose? Maybe Lucky was familiar with the person with the saw? So many questions!
I know a lot of guys who wear two pairs of pants, mostly boxers, gym shorts, and another pair of shorts. If it's cold outside he might've put his pants on top of jogging pants he was wearing around the house when he left? I'm not sure what he was doing before he returned home? Did he even get a chance to leave? Maybe his keys were in his hand because he was leaving? I'm not sure.
I agree it appears as if this is a bit of a write off, but I'm sure it could lead a much larger crime ring? It is Memphis tho.
