Summarized from the article:

Robert Grove lives with his mom and his 1-year-old daughter. He sells cars and works at Lucky Grain Market.

He didn't come home Sunday night, and didn't arrive on Monday morning to take his mom to work or to pick up his daughter.

The family tracked his phone to the Surry Apartments on New Allen Rd in the Raleigh area of Memphis, and found his car there. They called a locksmith to open the car door, and found the driver's seat covered in blood. Robert's sister called the police.

Robert's car is seen on video arriving at the apartment complex at 12:25 a.m. and leaving 4 minutes later. The car returned to the complex at 1:09am.

Some people in the area reported hearing gunshots during the night.

I see on his FB that he is looking to sell a fairly nice car. Might he have met with someone for them to look at the car, and then somehow come to grief? MOO

Not for sure, but glancing at his FB page it appears he might be into car sales?

The article that opened the thread made a quick mention of him doing car sales in addition to another job but didn't say who he worked for or where (i.e. worked in sales at a lot or dealership or bougt, fixed up and sold cars on his own). I did find a court record in Shelby County where he had wages garnished at his employment (DHL Express) for monies owed to an auto mart but that employment ceased in 2023. He worked at Lucky Grain Market. I found a Very Lucky Green Market. Or a lucky food center.
By looking at FB, he got cars from a salvage auction, and is able to clear the titles, so they can be sold. He sounds like a good soul, who loves him Mom, and daughter. I pray he is okay, but does not look good. I assume that the camera feeds did not show who was driving his car to that apartment complex.

Police are investigating after a man’s body was discovered at an abandoned garage in Tennessee on Sunday.

The family of Robert Grove, who has been missing for nearly a week, fears it may be him.

When NewsNation affiliate WREG arrived, police were not on the scene, but Grove’s family and friends were at the location.

*****
Officers said they found a man’s body just before 1 p.m. on Sunday. Jackson said she believes the body found is her brother.

“Right now, it’s no longer a missing person. They didn’t want to confirm, because they want us to come down and see everything and make sure,” she said. “It is a homicide case, so they let us know that it probably is him.”

*****
Officials have not confirmed to WREG if the body found was Grove’s.

Newly obtained video from an anonymous source showing a blurred figure leaving Grove’s Chevrolet truck from the night he went missing, and while the video isn’t clear, his sister Racquel Jackson says it’s not her brother.

“No, that’s not my brother getting out of that truck, that is not my brother getting out of that truck,” said Jackson. “That guy is tall, Robert’s short, Robert’s only a little bit taller than me. He’s like 5’8,” that person’s tall and they’re skinny — Robert’s not skinny at all.”

“You will be caught, I got faith in the FBI, the police department, and everybody that’s working on the case, I do believe they will be caught,” she said.

This poor family, I hope his sister's faith in investigators is rewarded quickly.
