Could have been a financial decision. Maybe business going under? Did just the name change or is it a completely different LLC? I suppose they could have sold the business and any potential contracts to afford to move. Could explain that $500,000 too. Also interesting that CP is the owner. It's hard to imagine anything RP doing was innocent at this point in time. Maybe the FBI will unearth a bunch of financial crimes in the process of the investigation.
I think the $500,000 may be a different (same name) company.
@margarita25, there are quite a few Trinity Transport's in GA including Atlanta, Marietta, Macon, Fairburn, McDonough, etc. Use the USDOT#.

Could SP have hidden in one of his rigs and travelled to Wisconsin that way?

If this went down like that?! SLP deserves a presidential medal for taking this low-life down! That would be so (Cool Rad Awesome -pick one, or all) :)

Surely we can find information re his prior rape charge (as well as DV, etc)? Wondering if this was a random victim or one similar to the charges at hand.
Whatever the case we won’t name the victim, but wondering if his perverse interests include random/ other types of victims as well.

Does he only rape minors? And ones he knows/is related to? (I can’t believe the stuff I have to type here sometimes)

Thinking about all the episodes of “Evil Lives Here” re: truckers. Classic story is they come home and abuse the wife and kids. So who knows what he does out on the road.

Thinking about how tightly RP an CP were holding hands in their public appearances.

Hmmm, after his first rape arrest, maybe he married SP’s mom as cover for himself so he could continue to appear to be a good guy and decided to rape his adopted daughter in addition to other victims. Maybe her siblings were next.

And hopefully SLP saved her siblings from that very fate! I so so hope so! jmo imo mho

I see the company is listed in Georgia, can he operate in Tennessee without registering with their laws etc.? Makes me wonder if he had been working since the move. I didn't explain that very well.
He would need to transfer his CDL license from GA to TN.

Not only this, but SP escaped her horrible home life just days after Jayme Closs escaped her captor. I have been wondering if Jayme’s heroic actions and bravery gave SP the courage to make a run for it too. In addition, she may have seen that Jayme was supported and not vilified as a result of her ordeal. She has nothing to be ashamed of; she is a victim.
I hope they can both be heroines for each other and an inspiration for any other girls in the same situation.

I wonder if when he got out of Prison he claimed he had "found God." Maybe he told his wife and others that he was truly a changed man and was now on the path to "righteousness."
People do actually change their lives around after finding religion in prison, so maybe people that knew him were easily fooled.
Either way, he is a coward to hide behind religion while truly being such a weak, pathetic individual.
It's insulting and offensive to those who really do find strength in religion and do the right thing.
He betrayed his family and his entire community. Imo

Me too. And I wonder if it influenced divorce proceedings in 2015. He filed. But she could have been angry, confused, confrontational... He prob told her it was all a lie in another award winning performance & filed just to be extra convincing of his innocence. Guessing- who knows. All I know for sure is that criminal penalties for sex crimes need to be increased by huge percentages if we ever hope to stop seeing this crap in the news EVERY DAY.
I totally agree with you. What upsets me is that this man will get out of jail by the time S either graduates high school or college. I am so sick and tired of seeing vile men back out on the street, allegedly "rehabbed" of their wicked ways- as soon as many of them get the chance, they find a new victim. Sometimes, the fear of going back to jail has them take it one step further and they murder them.

I really wish S could have stayed out in Wisconsin, if she wanted to and whoever had her was willing to let her stay- I am hoping it was a family type situation or a single female Mom who had empathy to her plight and just gave her a safe place to stay while she sorted this all out.

Why would she ever want to return home? I see some folks saying she needs to go home to TN- for what? A horse? This girl has been through hell and back and had to plan her own escape while suffering through hell as he raped her obviously again, just to have proof it happened! We want this girl to come back home to the memories of that? Do we really?

Following Tricia's guidelines here, but I have to say one thing- there is no way the mom, his family, and any of hers were all clueless about this man's criminal background. No way. Yet we want S to face these people and have a wonderful family reunion when she gets back- LMAO. I can't imagine another victim wishing that............

Also- we need to keep in mind- it was her Mom and step monster that said she was a "farm girl" and wanted to live on one since she was a child. Abusers often will take advantage of a child victim and buy them things- "If you don't tell, I'll get you a horse" etc etc.

Or maybe S wasn't a farm girl and the parents said that to make it seem how much they loved her and spoiled her, having no idea why their sunshine and morning cup of coffee would want to leave their wonderful home.

I will believe it when I see S one day say she wanted to be a farm girl. Until then, I trust nothing out of either of their mouths. Nothing...

Thank you for this info!
I wonder where that truck was the night she disappeared?
Are you thinking she may have been on that truck and managed to escape when they stopped at the rest stop?!
It's possible! It would explain how she managed to get that far without communicating with anybody!
I wonder what his truck route was that night.

Only, what hundreds more, left to go?

That us EXACTLY what I am thinking.
If his truck was parked on their property and it was driven out in the wee hours. It would be easy for her to gain access and wait for it to pull out.
It explains alot about how there was no digital trail for her.
ETA I am assuming that his rigs are based on the farm.

Let's hope SP's bravery sets an example and deters many more from happening.

S lived in her "dream home" for less than 3 weeks before she ran away- 3 WEEKS! In the boonies, on an isolated mountain road. She was home schooled allegedly for 3 weeks or less, due to the move and holidays. She wasn't forming any attachment to that home, enduring God knows what, during that time period. That isn't home to S.

She also made it all the way to Wisconsin on her own, to escape from this monster, leaving her siblings behind. Isn't it odd that in that time period, she never contacted her Mom to let her know she was safe and alive?

SABBM- I haven't been able to find a dang thing, but I've only looked in a few counties in GA where he's had ties. If he's been a trucker all along, who knows where he could have been committing crimes.

But for how long? Yes, we can cheer now, for S is safe for the time being. When he gets out, then what? She will constantly live in fear of him trying to find her- it's just the way a victim feels once they know that they're of jail. You constantly look over your shoulder, wondering if they will try and find you, even if you are states away. Today it's so easy to find anyone online, which just sucks. No one can move to another state without being found, as it becomes public record online- your address, phone number if you have a landline, your previous address, your new married name, and even relatives are listed.

No. The research is pretty definitive. Children who live with step fathers or unrelated "mama's new man" are at significantly higher risk for abuse than kids who live with their natural parents or with only a single mom. Here is an example:

Father Figures vs. Biological Fathers in the Home
Results of the 2009 study showed that families living with a man who was not the biological father of all the children in the home, and families living without a man in the home, were significantly more likely to be contacted by CPS compared to families in which the biological father of all the children lived with the mother.

The following year, a report on the National Incidence Study of Abuse and Neglect, which examines not only CPS cases but all reported incidences of abuse and neglect to community professionals, also found that maltreatment rates differed according to family structure.[2] Children living with their married biological parents had the lowest rate of abuse and neglect, whereas those living with a single parent who had a partner living in the household had the highest rate. Compared to children living with married biological parents, those whose single parent had a live-in partner were at least 8 times more likely to be maltreated in one way or another. They were 10 mores more likely to experience abuse and 8 times more likely to experience neglect.

A 2001 study by Aruna Radhakrishna and colleagues at the University of North Carolina followed 644 North Carolina newborns for eight years. These babies were mostly from families considered at high risk of abuse or neglect based on the characteristics of the mother and infant at birth. Researchers found that maltreatment was lowest among children who lived with two biological parents.[3] Maltreatment was most common in homes with a stepfather or boyfriend, with 80% of the maltreatment occurring between birth and age 4, 20% between ages 4-6, and 27% between ages 6-8. Unlike the 2009 study, however, this one found no significant difference in maltreatment rates between kids living with both parents and kids living with only their biological mother.

This case fits the pattern. I know that feels offensive to some people but I'm not making up the facts.

Children's happiness isn't dependent on their parents' ability to find love. Instead, their well being is often compromised by parents trying hard to meet their own needs at the expense of their childrens' needs to be safe and protected. IMO.
This should be mandatory reading for all women.
