Hmm yes, I would think so - last seen on the 13th (late evening) found missing on the 14th 4:30am-5am - and phone pinged in KY on the 14th around 5:15am? 130 miles away? so perhaps she went missing around 2-2:30am on the 14th? still messing with this timeline...

Really, no one knows the exact time she went missing.
Only the time of ping. But, we don’t know, did she head straight to that area or hang out in TN for a couple hours?

When I had teen girls in my house, the only thing that prompted me to “peak in” in the wee hours was when we were dealing with “puppy love”.
Since we have no reports of a minor missing, I think we can assume she's with an adult. Someone knows him!

Don't you just wonder what all LE isn't telling us? Or how much of what they are is misdirection for the potential perp?

Absolutely! My gut tells me they are close to finding her.

this!!! it's been driving me crazy!!! and i believe another poster did point it out last night...

Missing teen's cellphones pinged nearly 140 miles from Tennessee home: Police
Her younger sister discovered Savannah, the oldest of four siblings, missing Jan. 14 around 5 a.m., Christina Pruitt said.

Parents of missing teen: "Please help us find our baby"
Officials say her mother went into her room on the morning of Jan. 14 at 4:30 a.m. and she was not there.
Maybe mom was confused and overwhelmed?

Yes, like where else did the phones ping? We know the last one but none others, or the time they pinged.

Yes. I think they know much more than they are saying.

Adding to the mystery, is that both cell phones are gone. I think that's an important detail. Someone had to know about both, unless she slept with them so close by and it was extremely obvious. The details are really bizarre.
Bingo! Unless she grabbed both of them herself. If she took a purse, they would likely have both been in there.

But for someone to have either known about both or maybe just discovered that she had two phones on her...significant. Why look for a second one?

And they are both turned off correct? Still curious if they are different numbers, or two phones with same number.

If any of her stuff was dumped, say a purse of backpack, they could have both been in there and actually the second one was discovered randomly. JMO

Do we know that all four children were homeschooled?
MOO
Looking....don't even know the ages of the others except younger than Savannah.

I know, and I just find it so very odd and coincidental that her phone pinged around 5 or 5:15 am in KY. Just strange that they check on her at those times or at that time (who really discovered that she was missing?) and she's allegedly in KY at a rest area.

Did she try to call home? Or did someone with her phones text or call someone at the home, prompting a search? Did she call an aunt?

I’d like to know why the mom was checking on her daughter at 4:30 am. Maybe she just happened to pass the bedroom on the way to the bathroom or something, and felt a draft from the open window. But I’d like to know how the discovery came about.
Maybe it's as simple as the other daughter noticing SP wan't there and saying something to her mom, and the mom came into SP's room and discovered her gone?!

Now see here- LE told the reporter that the Mom checked her room at 4:30 am!

So which is it- the Mom at 4:30 AM or the sisters at 5:00 AM?

Is it not a VERY odd coincidence that at the time the Mom and sisters allegedly checked on her, that her phone pinged in KY? Things that make me go hhhhhmmmmmmmmm.
Maybe they tried calling her or texting her after discovering she was gone. That would cause a ping from the phone(s).

....and cause them to be intentionally turned off.

I suspect the last pings of the phones was a ruse, to throw off authorities.
I think the timing of the pings, around the same time mom and/or sister found her missing, corresponds. They might have texted her or tried to call once realizing she was gone.

I’m having a hard time weeding through what’s fact and not fact. These rumors are making it hard to follow here. Just sayin.

(Quoting myself to apologize for being snippy and commenting before being fully caught up, I see now after reading that the shoes discussion did not originate via rumor, but as a speculative example which was misinterpreted. My bad.)

(This is exactly why one shouldn’t read backwards, but it’s hard to resist the temptation sometimes!)

Agree. I even deleted my post with another thought.

I have a couple kids with hair that looks different depending on lighting but I don’t say “it depends on the lighting” if someone asks what color hair they have, know what I mean? I’d call my 8 year old a blonde; in summer she has light hair with white streaks but by mid winter, it’s light brown with dark blonde highlights. My 15 year old son is a red head but in some lighting he looks like he has dark brown and other times, it’s blazing red! And my 2 year old son has blonde hair, I wouldn’t call it anything but blonde, but just this week, two people who see him several times a year were arguing that he’s a red head. I’m just like huh!?!? No, he’s blonde! My other three are dark haired and it’s dark no matter the day, time of year or lighting. lol

I get that. I think the issue is in all of her photos except one she doesn't look blonde.

I don't know if that would make a difference to people who might see her though.
