Thank you for the map. I googled mileage earlier but never looked at a map. Would where her phone pinged fit in o this map do you know? I know it is about two hours from Leitchfield but again never mapped it. Per the one article, the car had Tennessee plates, that could kind of change some thoughts of mine. I wondered in the beginning of even her taking a family car or some such but decided it was far fetched. It would have to be someone from Tennessee the way it looks but did some say they had lived there before, although a slightly different area than they are now in...?
Well, it may not matter now but yes, the Welcome Center does fit the route. Google Maps I'm not clear on where they lived in TN previously. Hopefully, someone here remembers that better than me.

(Remember when MM was named in Hania’s case, then it was said it was a rumor, but it turned out weeks later it really was him? Not saying that’s the case here of course, just saying.)

Oh that media roller coaster...

From another article 3 hrs ago..,

BREAKING NEWS: Has FBI captured suspect in disappearance of Savannah Pruitt at Leitchfield gas station?

A law enforcement official said the development is related to missing teenager Savannah Leigh Pruitt, who was last seen by her parents at their Madisonville, Tennessee home between 11:00 and 11:30 on the night of January 13.

(Another law enforcement source would only confirm that the FBI was in Leitchfield conducting an investigation that originated in Tennessee.)

....

The suspect, who stands around 5-foot-8 and was described by the Marathon employee as “chunky,” was then taken to the Leitchfield Police Department by Cain where he was apparently questioned for several hours by the FBI and possibly members of other law enforcement agencies. The man’s vehicle, bearing a Tennessee license plate, was towed from the Marathon.
Yep, and CrimeOnline has also picked it up based on WKOA's story. It doesn't look as though they've independently verified the information. Sloppy, sloppy.

Male suspect reportedly detained in Savannah Leigh Pruitt disappearance, a young girl who vanished weeks ago [Report]
"The official reportedly told local Kentucky outlet WKOA..."

Yes ma'am, I do!

What made them stop this guy? I suppose I should read up on it.

Right, I am just trying to narrow the time frames for us. It had to be after midnight and sometime before 5:00-5:30am. I would like to know if that activity by her was before or after she left the house. She would have to be out of the house by 2:30am.

Hi Jethro,

Why would it have to be after midnight if she was last seen at 11? Tia.

Thank you. I think I never saw a map but it was like an hour away from their current area, maybe a bit more. The Welcome Center fitting is interesting. It probably does not matter but I am still hoping there is something to this arrest... Even though they say otherwise... Not a lot of hope, but I have a little...

I asked about the TN thing because I never thought of her knowing people in another area of TN but when I saw it was a TN plate, it took me there...

The articles I have read do not say. I think but for a gas station clerk talking, we would not have heard about it...

ETA: Sorry, responded to wrong post.

From this news report I noticed that a phone charger is on the top of her dresser. Now if she had planned to run away wouldn't she have taken both of her phone chargers with her and also closed the window on her way out? I also don't understand how her family can say that some of her clothes are missing considering they just moved in recently and her clothes look somewhat piled up on that box in the video. I also don't think she would have willingly left her animals. She must have loved them alot since she had a schedule posted of feeding times for them. I am at the point now to where I do not think she left willingly and am afraid she was taken. I feel sick and am so praying she is found alive. Here is the link of the video...notice the white phone charger on the dresser. New details emerge in search for missing Monroe County teen

Hi, I’m confused, I was asking why Jethro said he/she would have to have gone missing after midnight? In other words, why eliminate the hour window before 11 and 12?

Now see here- LE told the reporter that the Mom checked her room at 4:30 am!

So which is it- the Mom at 4:30 AM or the sisters at 5:00 AM?

Is it not a VERY odd coincidence that at the time the Mom and sisters allegedly checked on her, that her phone pinged in KY? Things that make me go hhhhhmmmmmmmmm.

Maybe her phone ping at that time was because they tried calling her once they noticed she was missing?

I bet you are :) I responded to the wrong post. Sorry about that.

But with regard to your remark :), I agree she could have gone missing at any time, we have no idea really.

I thought the same about the clothes. Obviously she did not leave willingly.

Hi Jethro,

Could midnight have been when her parents went to bed?

I slightly disagree. I have seen teenagers that will throw pieces of clothing out of a dresser or a box looking for what they want. It also does not mean enough of the right season's clothing was in the dresser. The family could have made the bed for pics and the box they could have went through looking for a certain jacket, shirt, etc. to determine if anything was missing. This is weeks after the fact. Difficult to say. Or if she dug for clothing she wanted, the box was not formerly this way, and the family may know. Possible anyhow.

I also saw the charger but I have never had a white phone charger. Maybe not uncommon but I have had many phones and have never had a white one. I debated what it went to. Or one was not taken and that is why the phone went dead after the area it pinged, because she had been using it all night and could not charge it unless she took a car charger type cord with.

So you think a stranger managed to get or have her take her two phones and had her leave them on? Or you are thinking something more close to home while someone else traveled with both phones?

I guess I just mean these things to me still do not really answer anything but that is just my opinion.

I'm getting the grooming vibe in this case...

Since they don't have her two phones, I assume they haven't been able to see who she's been communicating with on the various apps on her phones. SM DMs, etc.

Hi Jethro,

Jethro noticed a friend added on the 14th on a photography FB page for Savannah. What time was Savannah active on FB on the 14th? (Or did the other person simply accept a previously sent friend request on the 14th?)

On that New Photography Page if you go to the members section she added someone on January 14th - day she went missing. Anyone know if there is a time stamp buried in the view source of the page to get an exact time?

They have 2000 pages of data they have gone through - Teen's bedroom window open day of disappearance
snipped
Fillyaw says the sheriff's office has reached out to all cell carriers and social media outlets to get a report on Savannah's phone activity. The report is an excess of "2,000 pages," which the sheriff's office says they have combed through along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

I have to ageee that this is a strong possibility imo and a leading theory, jmo (one of them). As I’ve stated upstream, just because nothing was indicative of this in what they were able to examine (2000 pages), it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s something they haven’t found, moo. For example, I posted a link to a case upstream which involved grooming via a Disney Chat app.

Would a full electronic analysis of her phones via the provider show all the apps and chats she’s used? I don’t think so, right?

Otherwise you have to believe that the FBI was following some random guy with a dozen agents.
