So, bringing this revised quote forward from ABC:

“We now know she was last seen heading to bed around 11 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. Her siblings found her bedroom window open the next morning and said some of her clothes and bed sheets were missing.”

New details emerge in search for missing Monroe County teen

I think she was taken against her will and the two phones were taken by the person who took her. I would think both phones would have been on her night stand or on the bed and the kidnapper would have seen them and taken them. He wouldn't have thought to take the phone charger sitting on her dresser because he would have taken the phones to make it look like she had ran away from home. As for why he would take both phones ...I would say to throw LE off by thinking she ran away willingly. At some point in the early morning hours the kidnapper would have turned both of the phones off or thrown them out. JMO

Otherwise you have to believe that the FBI was following some random guy with a dozen agents.

Or it was another case that happened to involve both states and they also were there and available to respond...

It seems as if there may be something to it if the picture of all of the response and the feds responding is to be believed...

I maintain a bit of hope...

What about Fortnight and stuff like that?

It works like any theory does but it seems pretty for risky for someone taking her against her will. Takes time to look around room, find phones, etc. Then he leaves them on where all local LE has to do if informed right away is call the cops in the area the phone pinged to get on his trail or be on an alert. So the sheets and clothing? And did he use a ladder to get in the window?

I am not arguing, just truly asking. I can see someone that "groomed" her, it is hard for me though to believe the random perp because of the questions I just posed although it certainly is possible.

I agree. I think the random perp idea is the least likely.

From this news report I noticed that a phone charger is on the top of her dresser. Now if she had planned to run away wouldn't she have taken both of her phone chargers with her and also closed the window on her way out? I also don't understand how her family can say that some of her clothes are missing considering they just moved in recently and her clothes look somewhat piled up on that box in the video. I also don't think she would have willingly left her animals. She must have loved them alot since she had a schedule posted of feeding times for them. I am at the point now to where I do not think she left willingly and am afraid she was taken. I feel sick and am so praying she is found alive. Here is the link of the video...notice the white phone charger on the dresser. New details emerge in search for missing Monroe County teen
It could be that she was still in the process of unpacking her things and/or boxing up items to donate that she no longer wanted. If you read back a couple of pages, I think we more or less determined that she wouldn't have been able to reach the window to close it from the outside.

Thank you for posting this article again. I wasn't aware that it was updated with new video which shows a clearer picture of the window screen. This is also the first I've seen of the chore list on her wall.

Me too. Not doubting anyone's opinion or thoughts but for me, I just cannot make the facts we know fit--if, indeed, they are facts.

I'm getting the grooming vibe in this case...

Since they don't have her two phones, I assume they haven't been able to see who she's been communicating with on the various apps on her phones. SM DMs, etc.

This one I can see. In between a stranger and a bf, someone older who has been working on gaining her trust. A possibility anyhow. It would worry me though as their intent would not be as innocent as a former bf possibly.

That picture of the screen is definitely clearer. It looks like someone cut a square from the center down. Could go either way on that one, cut to exit, cut to enter. I don't think someone entered the house though. If it was raining, I'd think there would be footprints on the side of the house, the window, and/or the floor. Nor does it look like a hole an adult or even teenage male could easily fit through. Coming in would present more challenges than going out IMO and would require pretty much the entire screen width to be open to get a leg though. I suppose it could have been used to fully open the window from outside, but I can't imagine SP voluntarily leaving with some random stranger standing outside the window in the middle of the night.

Re: phone charger- We have about 20 different chargers in this house. They come with new phones, new tablets, electronic games, wireless headphones, etc. We never get rid of them because they seem to work with every electronic item we own.

Can we get a zoom in on the ground by the window? Any footprints?

Agree on the charger thing and teens and preteens are great at taking everyone else's chargers...

I have come to one solid conclusion that it would take some facts to change. No one exited that window with her in their arms or struggling and I even seriously doubt they entered it. I just cannot see it. The height alone goes against any possibility of that. What did he carry her down a ladder? Raining, there would be ladder marks in the ground... It makes absolutely no sense to me.

I guess someone could have cut the screen and woke her up, that I could possibly believe. A gun in hand. Maybe...

I think of the Occam's Razor thing though.... Seems a bit far fetched...

I agree. The cut in the screen looks too perfect to be done in haste. It looks to me like it was cut slowly, quietly, and carefully. I've removed a lot of screens (I like my windows clean :)) and I think it would have been faster to remove it than cut that hole. But, does a 14-year-old know how to remove a window screen?

I think Savannah could have fit through that hole and I can definitely see the missing items fitting through there. I don't consider it at all likely that anyone entered the house through that window.

Same here with the chargers, lol. They're EVERYWHERE! :p

Since we don't know anything about footprints outside the window or in the bedroom it makes it hard to figure out.

Oh that media roller coaster...

From another article 3 hrs ago..,

BREAKING NEWS: Has FBI captured suspect in disappearance of Savannah Pruitt at Leitchfield gas station?

A law enforcement official said the development is related to missing teenager Savannah Leigh Pruitt, who was last seen by her parents at their Madisonville, Tennessee home between 11:00 and 11:30 on the night of January 13.

(Another law enforcement source would only confirm that the FBI was in Leitchfield conducting an investigation that originated in Tennessee.)

....

The suspect, who stands around 5-foot-8 and was described by the Marathon employee as “chunky,” was then taken to the Leitchfield Police Department by Cain where he was apparently questioned for several hours by the FBI and possibly members of other law enforcement agencies. The man’s vehicle, bearing a Tennessee license plate, was towed from the Marathon.
I'm getting a "nothing found" when I go to that link for the story. Anyone else?

It's hard to tell what might be a footprint and what's just concrete discoloration, window glare, etc., but take a look. :)

The tabs to remove the screen are on the inside and it can't be removed from the outside. Unless you cut the screen, reach in and grab the tabs. The screen could be put back in place from outside but the window's too high to close from outside without something to stand on IMO. I don't necessarily think someone broke in but it would explain the cut in the screen when it would be easy to remove from inside.
