I agree. The cut in the screen looks too perfect to be done in haste. It looks to me like it was cut slowly, quietly, and carefully. I've removed a lot of screens (I like my windows clean :)) and I think it would have been faster to remove it than cut that hole. But, does a 14-year-old know how to remove a window screen?

I think Savannah could have fit through that hole and I can definitely see the missing items fitting through there. I don't consider it at all likely that anyone entered the house through that window.

Same here with the chargers, lol. They're EVERYWHERE! :p

MOO

I so veryyyy much agree, just take a screen off. I am not sure she would have even went through easily without then jumping (possible) and tearing the screen further, but her things could have. Otherwise it is staged. I just cannot in any way picture a perp coming in a cut screen like that.

The tabs to remove the screen are on the inside and it can't be removed from the outside. Unless you cut the screen, reach in and grab the tabs. The screen could be put back in place from outside but the window's too high to close from outside without something to stand on IMO. I don't necessarily think someone broke in but it would explain the cut in the screen when it would be easy to remove from inside.
If she had gone willingly, she would have opened the window and removed the screen, very easy to do, no need to cut it.

I'm getting a "nothing found" when I go to that link for the story. Anyone else?
Same here. I did read it earlier tho. They've removed it.
Yep, it's gone now but fortunately, it made it to the media thread before they took it down. TN - TN - Savannah Leigh Pruitt, 14, Madisonville, Media, Maps and Timelines *NO DISCUSSION*

BREAKING NEWS: Has FBI captured suspect in disappearance of Savannah Pruitt at Leitchfield gas station?
A suspect in the disappearance of a 14-year-old Tennessee girl may have been captured in Leitchfield.

Wednesday night at approximately 6:00, the FBI detained a male suspect at the Marathon gas station at 802 South Main Street. The suspect has yet to be identified.

A law enforcement official said the development is related to missing teenager Savannah Leigh Pruitt, who was last seen by her parents at their Madisonville, Tennessee home between 11:00 and 11:30 on the night of January 13.

(Another law enforcement source would only confirm that the FBI was in Leitchfield conducting an investigation that originated in Tennessee.)

The suspect, who stands around 5-foot-8 and was described by the Marathon employee as “chunky,” was then taken to the Leitchfield Police Department by Cain where he was apparently questioned for several hours by the FBI and possibly members of other law enforcement agencies. The man’s vehicle, bearing a Tennessee license plate, was towed from the Marathon.

Multiple federal law enforcement vehicles could be seen at Leitchfield police headquarters late Wednesday night, with authorities concluding their investigation in Leitchfield around midnight. Where the suspect was then taken is unknown.

This is a one story house. I have a white charger.

I agree and thought the same thing about window height after seeing one from the inside on Zillow and seeing the home was one story. But now seeing the window from the outside with the guy in front of it, and the foundation, I can see a perp could not walk in through that window, nor dive through even. Without a ladder or something. And he would never be able to carry her out it imo. Could she go out of it? Possibly. jmo.

Correct! That is another reason I believe she was taken against her will. I pray they find her today! Her poor family must be feeling like they are in Hell at this point.

Not necessarily.

Oh, I didn't notice the tabs were on the inside. I guess I have mine on backwards then because mine are on the outside where I remove them to clean the windows.

My kids and wife would have no idea how to remove the screens in our house, very similar to those.

I live in a manufactured home very similar to this one and that's how all the screens are. But maybe mine are backwards?

I have to ageee that this is a strong possibility imo and a leading theory, jmo (one of them). As I’ve stated upstream, just because nothing was indicative of this in what they were able to examine (2000 pages), it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s something they haven’t found, moo. For example, I posted a link to a case upstream which involved grooming via a Disney Chat app.

Would a full electronic analysis of her phones via the provider show all the apps and chats she’s used? I don’t think so, right?

Correct, what about apps like snap chat? kik?

Kids theses days even communicate in Youtube comments/ channels...

I think 2,000 pages can be filled with a lot of pointless data, especially if the scope of data requested was broad.

Or it is staged, screen was cut and door was used. Without naming the possibilities that is also possible in any number of scenarios.

As in all cases, I am sure they know more than us, what side screen was cut from, etc. I would think.

The top of our local (KY) news stated something like:
FBI said wait a minute, not so fast.

I linked the updated info.
Be interesting to see what happens next.

Well, you’re prepared in event of a lock out, too, lol.

I think the cut screen equates to staging only.

All he would have needed was a bucket to stand on. I did that many times "breaking" into my own house as a kid into a similar window. I will say that it was not ever a graceful endeavor as I had to go in head first and avoid some furniture in the process.

So all speculation, made up in my mind, working overtime.
So what if for some reason or another, she walked away from the house, or someone set it up that she ran away/was abducted and walked out with her? I know people at times will say they can hear it if it happens, sadly at times people won't be woken up not even by an earthquake.
I do wonder when did everyone go to sleep, even parents? Is there home security? How far are the parent's room to the kids/Savannah?

All MOO

Thank you, you made me chuckle out loud picturing it. I do not disagree it is not possible, just that it would be graceful or noisy or that a perp plotting a serious crime would go in and out like that very easily.

I am still chuckling :D
