He never says anything about finding Summer. He has made it all about himself.

He needs to step down. We need to hear from those who were actually present when Summer went missing. We need a factual timeline from those who were actually,and factually there. When asked how CW is doing, DW states that she is stressed and one side of her face was drooping when this first happened.
He said 'they' think she could have had a stroke.
He didn't say who 'they' is. I hope she is seeing a medical professional.

The News Channel 11 report was well produced and did a good job summarizing the case so far.

According to their website, they are affiliated with both CBS and ABC.

Any other CBS or ABC station could air this piece if they wished. They could edit it if needed.

This is why imo it would have behooved the parents to at least return the phone call. Even if they just asked over the phone for the abductor they have told us about to please let Summer go. Just a basic appeal for Summer to be let go (which the reporter did for them).

The national news stations are not going to go so far out of their way when no one would talk to even the Johnson City TV news. Especially since it is abundantly clear from that piece that there was a search for Summer, but she wasn't found.

It is clear from the snippets of old interviews that LE is mired in a difficult investigation. And anyone seeing that and knowing nothing else about the case would go immediately to the lost in the woods theory (which might even be true, we don't know).

So, if I live in NYC or Seattle or a small town in Arizona, i might feel sad a little girl has probably died from exposure long ago, but i am not going to think there is even one thing i can do to find her unless i go to Hawkins County and start tromping around in the woods.

I am in Tennessee, and i don't have any super awesome ideas about how to find Summer. Hawkins County is pretty far from me and i don't know much about it other than it has some caves and a lot of wooded land. And it has a river. I have watched some videos of people driving around HC and those are interesting. The freight train runs through the county. I don't know if that is relevant just like i don't know if the Rogersville airport is relevant.

I feel like little Summer is in a place where it is not so easy to find her. You would have to know where to start. From that piece, the TBI sounds like they barely know where to start.

I believe they know what they are doing, but i am from Tennessee. So, i feel they won't give up because I have seen they can be tenacious. But, if i wasn't, i might not even really understand their particular role in this case.

Plus, i have told people about this case. And they are immediately suspicious. So....

Something else from WS with CM last night, CM received texts while on with Tricia from Mary. DW continues to call her, she blocks him then he changes his phone number again.

Also CM stated that the boys and SW were playing hide-n seek the day she came up missing.

Hide and seek seems more logical for a five year old, and maybe a seven year old, but not the older two. I could see putting that out there if the family story was that Summer is probably lost in the area, but not so much with all of the emphasis on abduction.

It is good he did that for Mrs. Cher. But either he or CB could have called the TV news people back. The TV news people, even the Johnson City station, is going to want their own quote. They played some of the old interviews DW and CB had done with channel 11.

ETA: DW or CB could probably call the TV news people back even now. I think a lot of stations in Tennessee are trying to keep SW's case in the news, but it is hard with nothing new to report. Some of these have viewership in neighboring states. Channel 11 says it has viewers in Virginia.

OMG. Every single time DW's asked to speak out to the "abductor" that he's so sure took Summer, like a deflated balloon we hear... nothing.

Why is it so hard for him to talk to the alleged abductor? Something's not right and it has nothing to do with "everyone reacts differently" or any similar garbage. It sounds as if he's talking to a buddy of his that did something bad, not an evil stranger who he believes grabbed his beloved child and likely tortured and murdered her. SMDH.

Here's an early "plea:"

Bly and Wells said they wholeheartedly believe someone has Summer and pleaded with whoever that may be to let her go.

“If there’s any way that you can find it in your heart to please release her, somehow, I don’t know how you might do that. I mean, because I’m you’re probably scared of going to prison for the rest of your life and everything else, I’m sure,” Wells said. “But please find it in your heart. Have mercy and find a way of letting her go where we can get her back. And just please have mercy on her and us and her brothers. She’s such a loving, good spirit. Please, please don’t hurt her. Chris stated very clearly in the video done with Trish, he got the information that the boys were playing hide and seek from an official who was there the day Summer disappeared. He stated it wasn't clear if this was before or after Summer, CB and CH returned home. I linked that information with time stamps to both the transcript and the video. See post #418 in this thread if you missed it. He was very clear in his statement.

Mick philpot seems very similar to DW. The police just waited until he tripped himself up. I do think this is what LE are doing now. Otherwise why are we not being told to look out for her or anything suspicious.

If they were playing hide and seek with Summer outside, I would surmise the dogs would have picked up her scent from that activity.

Maybe that is the whole point? Proves she wasn't there if dogs have no scent of her running all over the property?

I haven't seen CW much since The Pond interview or The House interview except briefly at a couple of prayer meetings.
I don't know when exactly DW was speaking of, I just assumed within the first 2 or 3 weeks.

CM was very clear in the interview that the boys and Summer were playing hide and seek on June 15th. I believe all the children played together when they were outside.

CM did say he wasn't sure if it was before or after CW & CH returned from running errands. So we are not even sure if SW was with her mother & CH all day. That is how CM left it.
