Maybe I am holding on to too much hope, but I feel it will be solved.

What if she was abducted by someone who knows what the family's story is about. Is it possible that the thief conned the parents into staying away or not watching their own kids? Took the opportunity to hand Summer Moon off to someone. Perhaps they are behaving as if they know nothing.

I think Tennessee law would have required her to be in a booster seat at her age and height?

People were questioning why the pillow under Summer on here.

The "grandma didn't want her seat wet" wasn't sitting well with some people.

Yes, for her age and height, a belt positioning booster seat is required by law.

This is in reference to 'did he say that Candus went for a walk?' and 'where did that come from?' (paraphrasing)

It's obvious he was talking about the released dispatch call that we all heard, not the 911 tapes. He probably didn't make the distinction in what was asked.

was blurting out questions that she wanted Cher to ask. She was quite aggressive. Cher made clear several times that she had an agreement with Don that it would not be like an interrogation (or he would hang up) and she wasn't going to go at him aggressively.

Don and Candus have shown that they will throw a curve ball at any incriminating questions. It doesn't make sense to go after Don aggressively. Cher, IMO, has a clever approach to Don. They both have addiction in common. She lets him talk religion because it is his time to vocalize. Similar to Chris McDonough's videos. A couple of weeks ago I thought Cher had him at some kind of tipping point. I thought he was going to brake down and give up some information that would shine a light on the investigation. Then Candus stepped in during the broadcast. She was vocal about the picture of Summer Moon's face on the screen and then Candus cursed Don out and walked away. In that moment Candus looked like a jealous woman rather than someone missing a child. Summer Moon's image appeared to be a trigger, possible, to get information out of Don. Was it a hurtful reminder for Candus? IMO. Sometimes it looks like Candus is in complete control, then other times it looks like Don has full reign. During the interview he looked torn, He needed to talk about Summer Moon. He looked as though he was making a choice to talk about Summer Moon with Cher or hang up because Candus was triggered as well by the picture, but not like Don. Don is in a bad way if you think about it. Summer Moon is an emotional connection for him. You'd think he carried her for 9 months, gave birth to her and was glued to her all day, everyday. In many ways I wonder if Summer Moon was his protector, muse, or his reason for trying to be a better father. His sunshine might be pretty hazy right now. Her disappearance was sudden. Then CPS took the boys. Wow, poor guy, it looks bad. IMO.

Trying to understand the connection here. If it is possible the kids were playing hide and seek before SW, CB, CH returned home then it was more likely on a different day. It is stated that SW, CB, and CH left early that day for ER, so doubt the kids were playing before leaving.

The kids could have been asked a generic question such as where do you play, where do you go, what do you play. Or even asked do you ever play hide and seek, where does SW hide? That sounds like an obvious question to ask if looking for a child that may be lost.

Maybe the boys were told to go play hide and seek to get them out of the vicinity of the house for a short period of time. MOO.

Some people feel bad for CW and DW but I have not seen any signs that they have been trying to improve anything about their lives in order to have their sons returned to them. If anything, matters have only gotten worse. DW is on YT almost daily and most of the time it shows his negative side. The only time I have seen or heard anything about CW has not been very good either.

I have never seen either of them out posting flyers or heard about them helping with any searches, although they did speak with DR & Equuasearch last weekend.

I know addiction must be hard but for my children I think that I would try to do anything possible to get my children back.

Could be they like things just fine the way they are now. MOO.

My post was correcting misinformation about the content of a YouTube channel that had been misrepresented. Thanks for your insightful comments but I wasn't looking for psychoanalysis of D&C. Summer needs to be found! I want to stay focused on that.

Verifiable facts really only come to us through LE and msm , and neither is talking. And if LE , and Summer's own family don't have the first clue where to look for her, I don't know how we, as a true crime discussion board have any hope of finding her. I don't see much point in having an active thread if all we are going to post is " Where is Summer ?" over and over again. That doesn't really lend to discussion, you know ? So we discuss the interviews her parents have given. We can't control what they say or how they present themselves. All of the SA info has been moved to the basement in an effort to separate that from Summer's disappearance.

Thank you for all you've done. Truly, thank you so much. It is so much better, more helpful and more productive than people who sit at their keyboard and/or the YouTubers who slam the parents over and over. None of that helps Summer. Or LE. Or her parents. Or her brothers. I cringe every time I see that just thinking of how, one day, the brothers (and possibly Summer) will read/see all that. YIKES!!!

I am far, far away but if I was closer or could get closer, I would have been present at the weekly get-togethers. I would have befriended Candus long before she lost all hope, faith and trust in the world, her community, her inner circle, the would-be fake helpers. (What is that saying we teach our children? - when in trouble/distress, look for the "helpers". She tried!) I would have shown up with my cleaning bucket, broom/mop, storage/organizational ideas/solutions (kinda my thing), maybe some paint, my sewing machine and advanced seamstress skills (if needed), any other resources I have to help her in anticipation of getting her boys (and possibly Summer) back. Most of all, I would have lent my shoulder and ears. She could have vented, cried, wailed, b|thced as much as she needed. I would not have left until she was done. But - that's just me. YMMV. I'm always the one who jumps in first to help. Gets me in trouble sometimes but I never take that as a fail - just a lesson of how to do better next time. I just keep on keeping on.

I think while it's possible SW went missing from home (not literally the house, the property) that is not where events were set in motion before that. Where or how or by whom, idk...

In due respect, 'the family drama' is documented and video'ed enough to show its strength of truth.
What goes on behind those walls is the most relevant part of the investigation.
The behaviours and actions of the parents are well deserving of being under the microscope.

IF this little tidbit that's been dropped 3 months later is true, could it have been as simple as:
Summer: Brother, play with me! (upon final entry into home)
Brother: Okay. Let's play hide-n-seek. Tag - you're it. Go hide. (brother thinks: 'annoying lil sis will be out of my hair for a good long while so I can continue what I'm doing.')

I'm sorry (this is my opinion ONLY!), I just don't get the mindset that any official involved in Summer's case is going to turn critical investigative information over to a money-making YouTube channel to dispense that could potentially damage their case/any possible future prosecution. If true, that official needs to be fired yesterday. These are not bumbling idiots. They are being guided by TBI, FBI and CARD. I think they know what they're doing. They have been as tight with information as a frog's a$$ in water.

Where I live. In San Diego a mother of 3 children is missing and their search effort and story is every week on our local TV station ! Why I ask is this not happening in their town in Tennessee ?

Channel 6 East Tennessee 9/16/21 (her area)

Channel 5 Middle Tennessee 9/15/21 (not her area, but still covering her story)

The story is being covered, but there is no progress in the case. Meanwhile, other things happen that they need to cover. People on YT were really complaining that the news stations kept adding "breaking" to the stories about her when the last actual news was the reward being raised.

I think they were partly doing this to make the brief amount they had on her stand out.

Imo no one is going to see SW out walking around. I think if that was a possibility, there would be more coverage. I hate to say that, but looking at the behavior of LE and her parents, that seems to be the case.

I haven't watched these, but i think that they are going to be the same old information as always. Summer Wells is missing from Rogersville, Tennessee since June 15, 2021. That's all anyone has been told. Oh, p.s., LE wants to talk to the owner of the 20 year old red Toyota Tacoma.

I think I just tuned into what is soo odd with the sleeping Summer pic/video!.

Couldn't put my finger on it for the longest time.

When kids sleep in the car in their car seats, seatbelt, whatever,..., their chins are not up. Chins go down.

Maybe somebody already thought of this, but it finally hit me what was odd to me about it that I couldn't let the image go in my brain...

Everyone online seems to be looking for her. I read the info on the webpage and pretty much understood immediately what LE meant by social media getting in the way.

However, most importantly, why do the accounts for the day differ so significantly: Where does the truth lie?

Summer changed into a swim suit at Hunter's house
Candus dressed Summer Moon in a swim suit before leaving home
They all say they are not good with time.
Didn't see anything
Don't remember
I know I was driving
She had an orange
We both had a purple one
She was at home the last time anyone saw her
The neighbor heard a scream

She walked to the truck after swimming
She was laughing, she was perfectly fine

She was fine last time he saw her

You can get all of those stories on line. If you are an official looking for Summer Moon, then the internet is the last place they will get a concrete starting point.
