I'm just a little bit confused by the DW speak. Live Track (at least the one I know about) is a map tracking device that dog handlers and search groups with them that allows the SAR Manager to see on a computer map, where the team is and where they have searched. A pair of SW's shoes should have been a rich source of scent. If there was no scent article, what did the dog handler(s) use to imprint the scent on the dog(s)? If there was no scent article at all, the scent trail attributed to SW loses credibility, the dog could have been following any scent. If there was a scent article and a dog was imprinted with it and followed the scent trail to the road, DW discussing it with the media may have made it useless as evidence.
They must have used something. (Eta i just don't know what.)

I didn't know about Live Track.

DW's quotes about the driveway are in various articles all over the place about the event with the dog. (Eta i mean in many interviews starting early on he has talked about this.)

Have we even thought about the fact that maybe Summer did get in a car but she could have gotten in a car with another family member. Like could have Candace and Summer walked down the driveway to go somewhere quick with someone or even Summer walk down the driveway to meet her Dad?

And Candus put Summer in her car which Donny was driving....

Not my opinion but a possibility...

Even in close living quarters and shared sleeping arrangements, wouldn’t there still be underwear? I know that everyone’s dirty laundry is co-mingled in one bin, but they couldn’t have found a pair of underwear or stray sock shoved under a bed or something? A stuffed animal she slept with? The pillow from CH’s car?

Seems like the attention for Summer is slowing down. I hate how this happens, will she ever be found?

Did they get the boys back yet?
Well, unfortunately I’m not sure at this point what we can do. We’ve talked endlessly about the statements DW has made. LE has not given one solid fact to the public beyond Summer being missing. The family hasn’t appeared to do anything proactive, though they do post occasionally to the FindSummer website. I was pretty confident that LE knew what they were doing and would let the public know when they were ready to make an arrest but now I wonder if they just have no idea and don’t know where to go. I would hope the family or LE would do some public pleading if the case starts going cold but I don’t know if either will… JMO.

I keep trying to tell myself that maybe 'no news could be good news', but my hopes are slowly fading.

I believe the local LE are in over their heads but they refuse outside help although TBI has been on the case since the beginning. I think that something has happened during the investigation and SW disappearance must have opened up a can of worms.

CW and DW have not been in the public eye in a couple of weeks now. The last we heard anything it did not seem like they were trying to work on getting the boys back or helping in anyway with the search. I think the boys are in a better place, I hope they are with loving families.

This is so sad all around.

Let's say (just to start) that the family has told LE everything they know. One thing supporting that is CH left not that long afterward, taking her Silverado with her.

Now, i get they can still speak with CH. And, as long as she has the Silverado, i assume they can look at it. But, if they thought CH had all sorts of information, would they have let her just leave so easily? I don't think they could make her stay, but they could have asked her to stay and i don't get the impression that they did.

CH was there for much of SW's day. Not all of it because she had to go to the hospital and when they got home, i get the impression she was in her camper a while. But, except for CB, she was with SW the most.

So, if she doesn't know anything, who does?

I think some of us are hoping that the family knows something else even if they don't tell us. But, what if they don't?

Yeah, i think SW going missing is indirectly connected to some other things.

I don't know if solving all those other things will find SW or not.

DW emerges on Mrs. Cher's show (17 hours ago). This should be timestamped for 1 hour 14 minutes. He calls in...

Idk everything he says because I only listened to a little.

However, Ronnie Lawson is not his cousin.

Also, he talks about Dog the Bounty Hunter.

ETA: strong language warning

ETA: he wants help, but not the putting up flyers or searching the woods help. I think it is his talking to the drug dealers plan again, he just doesn't want to go completely alone. I mean, seriously, at this point they might as well try it. If Summer's not there, well, they have looked a bunch of places and she's not in those either.

I think he might have called in on her show after this one, but idk. I don't have time to check it out right now.

ETA: i don't really know much about this video before DW calls. I skipped around until i found him. Possibly, they talked about SW prior to him calling.

I wish News Nation's reporter, Brian Entin, who is doing superb, nearly round-the-clock reporting on the Petito/Laundrie case, could plunk himself down at the end of The W's driveway and report similarly on Summer's disappearance. Not gonna happen of course. Too bad local news in Hawkins County apparently has no resources.

I think local LE would utilize all resources available, especially TBI and the FBI CARD team. They have capabilities and technology that LE do not normally have access to.

I had the same thought at the beginning, except I wondered if she'd carried Summer down the driveway to Don rather than walked with her.

I haven't bailed on this case. I'm just giving everyone a break from me for a bit since I really having nothing of value to say. ;)

((((Summer)))) Still with you, Sweetheart. <3

Ummm, thanks for the weird, inappropriate bible story, Don ?

I think it's hard because LE is not talking at all. Maybe if the media bugged them more, they'd give an update?

I'm torn on Summer's case because we saw what happened when the parents got a lot of attention and it was just a circus that didn't help find Summer. I still don't think she could be far. Nothing in this case makes sense.

I had to step away from this case many threads ago. I still think Summer could be in a home/cabin/shed/bunker not far from her home. IMO, I do think it is probable someone nearby took her. And as far as the reason or motivation…it could be many things. I don’t have any strong feelings one way or the other if she is alive or not at this point. I think DW created so much distraction because of his own issues. The whole thing is tragic. The amount of dysfunction that can occur in families is truly devastating for the children involved. My hope is that the boys have a routine, feel safe, secure and loved. I do hope Summer is found and of course I wish for her all the things childhood should be about.

In the interview with Mrs. Cher above, DW says he and CB will be taking with some local news stations next week.

He also said he and CB visit the boys.

It looks like Don is going to be interviewed by the Behavior Panel.

Not sure when this is airing. This is just a trailer.

I think there is a strong Jamie vibe to this story. Also, a Harley vibe possibly. I wonder if when the leaves fall in the woods, and hunters are out, if remains will be found if it's more the Harley type of case. Jamie saved herself but little Summer is just too young, if taken, to escape, I believe. But I have some hope. I lean more to her having passed away down a well or in the woods.
