It looks like Behavior Panel has a new episode every Thursday, so we'll probably have to wait until Thursday to see the DW interview. It should be interesting.

I didn't watch Behavior Panel when they analyzed the DW/CB interview -- or any of their other videos for that matter, but I've heard good things about them. I think I'll watch that one, and maybe one or two more, before Thurs. just to get an idea of how they operate.

I recall during early days of the investigation, being frustrated that LE wasn't closely investigating The W's home and vehicles. Why wasn't LE constantly at the home, questioning and re-questioning? It seemed to me during those first weeks, LE appeared to be exclusively focused on the abduction/wandered-off theory. Because LE is releasing zero details about the investigation, we'll probably never know if they missed valuable opportunities for collecting information and evidence. I am not optimistic.

Going backwards to thread #9, on July 9 the sheriff addressed this accusation.

“I feel confident she’s not on the property anywhere around the residence after we’ve conducted multiple searches,” Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson said Thursday. “We have searched everything inside and outside the house and used multiple canines.”
“Our search continues to be very intense and ongoing,” he said.

On their original video when they were analysing Don and Candus they saw hardly any signs of deception. I wonder if this has lulled Don into a false sense of security......

Just checking in for more news on Summer. The Gabby case is so ongoing right now and a lot of people posting there.

I hope they are still searching and can come up with some new information. If they can’t find her on the place then I am afraid that someone did take her.

My heart breaks for this little girl. I just hope they can find her. Prayers for Summer.

No, I just saw the trailer pop up as I subscribe to their channel. They tend to have new videos up on Thursdays.

I hope they are able to keep the conversation focused on Summer.

i was trying to find out exactly what type of dogs were there. I can't find all the photos I saw before (which was were at the Wells place).

But, i think i have found enough dog pictures to perhaps say these are search dogs of some sort. They are not just dogs the police might use for various tasks.

This is really all i was trying to figure out.

There are media accounts of "bloodhounds" and "search dogs" without pictures and, really, without details.

@Oriah , you're right. We really only have DW's account.

Since LE hasn't said anything, the dogs might have picked up more than he thinks (SW scent trails). All we know for sure is the dogs were unable to lead searchers to Summer.

ETA: well.. i also did want to try to determine when the dogs were there. It sounds as if they were there as soon as they could be...

Dave R. also mentioned that dog hit in one of his videos.

I watched the trailer. He looks nervous. But, he is also leaning towards them as he is telling them something. That's very interesting.

It's easy to second guess and criticize LE but we never know what goes on behind the scenes during investigations for multiple reasons.
It is a common complaint that they are incompetent and don't keep us informed, I see it in a lot of threads.

Leaning forward can mean the person is listening intently or is engaged with the conversation. Leaning away can mean the opposite. Imo

It's easy to second guess and criticize LE but we never know what goes on behind the scenes during investigations for multiple reasons.
It is a common complaint that they are incompetent and don't keep us informed, I see it in a lot of threads.

And while there have been cases of incompetent LE, usually it turns out they've been doing their job all along.

I don't understand why you are assuming they didn't do so. LE isn't going to give the public a step-by-step account of their investigation. DW said in an interview that LE searched the house 6 or 7 times and took items. Multiple searches have been mentioned in several interviews.

You're right. It can mean other things, but in general I think that is what it means.

Since i don't know what he is saying at that point, I didn't really speculate.
