No matter what happened to this little girl the brothers are going to suffer for years to come.

"I told the boys to watch Summer". If it was two minutes or two hours it was put on them, and that's when she was gone. Mom can explain she walked her up to the porch. Made sure the boys were there. Tells them watch her I'll be right back. Says she is in two minutes. She calls down. She's gone.

God Bless the child that's got their own.
I think and hope the boys will be or have been thoroughly interviewed by professionals.
They should feel no guilt imo.

I wish a MSM reporter would ask the Sheriff or TBI if the community should be worried about predators possibly lurking and if the community should be concerned....

As hard as I look, I still don't get the same vibes as I did with Morphew, Stauch or Watts.
I would even say I want to point fingers, but I have nothing to go by to do so.
It's frustrating, you really are left with hoping she is found or recovered.
JMO.

Just speculation. Could it be her mother wanted to make sure she did what she said she wanted to do. Think about it. The little girl lives there and knows her way.
I'm sorry, I don't really understand what exactly you are trying to say here. Could you please clarify?

But they haven't afaik.

That might be too generous. Runners World says a swift pace by an adult is 100 to 129 steps per minute. Assuming Summer could even take 1 foot steps the farthest she’d go in 2 minutes would be about 200 feet.
MOO Beech Creek Rd. is only 250 ft away from the back of the property.

The fact that the other children are still in the home (they are?), is a good sign. With the West case, all of the children were removed from the home immediately, and still have not been returned.
I believe I read upthread (or on a previous thread) that social workers have been on site with the kids? I think DW mentioned the boys were being rowdy and the social worker on site defused the situation.... if I'm recalling incorrectly, please let me know.

That being said, if social workers are keeping close contact with the family, they might not remove the other children without solid probable cause. Or, maybe, it has been recommended that they stay in the home and closely monitored by LE for investigative purposes? This is all me speculating!

Which would put her, theoretically, at the end of the driveway... or very close to it.
But then we're back to the mechanism of whisking Summer off. If on foot then mom should have caught up with them. If in an ATV or car then they should have heard the engine. Plus, how would an abductor know to either skulk around in the bushes hoping Summer would walk out of the basement at just the right moment or else sneak into the basement hoping she'd come downstairs while out of sight of her mother. Without her brothers seeing anything either.

I'm not saying it's impossible but IMO it does take a series of lucky events to allow a predator to find a perfect moment when Summer is completely vulnerable, if we are to believe how closely her mother said she was watching her. MOO

Also, remember LE never confirmed anything about the k-9s, it's only DW saying they lost the scent at the road. And even he said he wasn't sure if that was true.

And... DW did say "she is an outside person", "she has to be outside". Paraphrasing, of course.

If Summer went into the basement, then changed her mind about being down there, she could have exited on her own.

The basement door has panes of glass. She could've peered out, noticed something interesting and exited to investigate.

Perhaps someone in the driveway? A previous visitor? Someone with whom she was comfortable?

Pure speculation, of course. Just throwing out a plausible scenario.

IMO

Yeah, it's a lot. Especially for someone like me.....Occam's Razor and all of that.....

A predator who was "in" with the family would have ample time to gain trust, groom and wait for an opportunity.

DW "so she wouldn't feel bad".

IMO The first part of this thought process (and its missing ) was the truth. An interjection of truth.
CW shaved her head to make Summer feel better about having to shave hers. (SPECULATING)
Which does say alot about CW and her empathy and love toward her.

Lots of people keep asking what does it matter about the hair.
It matters a lot.
If they can not tell the truth about little things (and let's be honest, who actually cares if the kids had lice???? not here anyway)
what does it say about big things...big things that might put you in jail.

And I do believe it bothered SUMMER alot having her head shaved. She is just as prissy as the next little girl.
That's why CW has lots of pics of her with big beautiful bows to hide her bald head.
Not one pic of summer with those BIG scarf bows until her head was shaved.

It was just growing back to a beautiful short style again.

If I look at the property, I can see a. Very dense vegetation ,in my opinion she could have disappeared within minutes without anybody seeing or finding her! And a predator as well!
And to reply to other posts - her mom and Dad pleaded on camera for Summers return! I just watched it!

The pic of her in the backseat asleep with the milk I believe is the last picture of her taken and she looks really healthy and beautiful.

i don't believe it bothered her having her head shaved because we don't know that it did. for all we know CW shaved her head to make summer feel better about peoples reactions to her head being shaved.

theres little girls that don't care about having long hair. i think we care more about it than they do honestly.

Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case.
Many excuses were being peddled ... but no real statement -- pleading or otherwise.
It's fine to agree to disagree with what either Wells is saying.
Imo.

The case I will never forget is Zachary Ramsay, in Great Falls, MT. The police were pretty rough on his Mom. She was low income, had a boyfriend. The police were convinced she had something to do with his disappearance.

Turned out, he was a victim of a serial killer, who managed a low profile, for quite awhile in a small town in Montana. I am pretty sure, the killer chose his victims very carefully.

She’s concerned about internet critics. They’re going to say what they’re going to say whether you go on camera or not so it’s better to plea for your child. If someone did swipe her they must have had fantastic timing, to be right there at the end of a remote driveway just as the mother went inside and the girl wandered off.

And I do believe it bothered SUMMER alot having her head shaved. She is just as prissy as the next little girl.

Why would her expressing that she had a hairstyle she (maybe) didn’t like make her, or any girl, “prissy?”

CW has been very reluctant to go on camera and make a statement.
The fact she chose to spend that valuable time talking about the haircut and FIRSTLY noted .....there is an irrational defense under the circumstances about it.

Am sure we will get to the heart of it sooner rather than later.
