I found it interesting that no other cell phones pinged in the area. It could mean (IMO only) no one was in the area when Summer disappeared and she’s somewhere on the property and hasn’t yet been found.

Iirc they said she was not trafficked out of the area. Interesting.

Yeah, professional criminals.
Summer may have been chosen because she had been noticed in the past, she seems to have been a precocious little child.
IF that is the case I reckon she was taken either opportunistically, the mysterious red vehicle that disappeared magically or by someone who had easy access to the Wells' place, either lived nearby, ha known criminal/gang connections and had the place under observation.
none of that would have been complicated and the terrain meant there were plenty of places to hide, even though tree fellers were on site on the day of her disappearance.

Both parents had enemies so a revenge taking/killing is not out of the question either.

I never really imagined her wondering off except the landscape had changed while they were away shopping, that may well have made her more curious than usual to explore what had previously been concealed by trees. I imagine a child's eyes opening wide in wonder at the new sights and being drawn further than she would have normally ventured.
I don't know what LE are considering, I've not been spectacularly impressed by them to date. Quite surprised they even got a geofence warrant, if that is how her dad reckons they knew there were no other cell phones in the location at the time.
But I also recall he gets things very mixed up because there were more cells there that day than at almost any other time because the tree fellers were there with lots of machinery.. I don't believe he intends to mislead insomuch as he's quite clueless in general and I'm respecting their wishes and laying off nasty innuendos about them so I say it without intending disrespect. They're kind of hapless really.

My big question is what exactly are and have TBI been doing?
They have produced nothing at all, have they?
Why not?

Your questions always make me think more and say more but it's all just my opinions borne of frustration.
I have no sense she is still alive and I have no sense of her passing.

Isn't that kind of rude to say about the mother of a missing child? It's like he is competing with her about who their child loved more. Seems inappropriate , IMO.

Currently, Wells and his wife are staying with family in Arkansas.

I hope they are in a healthy place in Arkansas and not in a dysfunctional family visit. It's probably too late for their CPS case anyway. Hopefully their boys are together in a wholesome placement so they can thrive.

I liked and agreed with this and then thought, well, no. Just because there were no other pings, it does not infer she must be on the property.
What if she was taken from the property by someone who never had a phone or technology to be pinged in the first place?

but they have not proved that .We take the word of LE without merit and this is one of those unmerited facts. Le said.

Kids can go through phases where they are more attached to one than the other. In a house full of boys, she also seemed to have a tomboy nature and might have just wanted to do what dad was doing.

ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. (NewsNation) — It’s been two years since 5-year-old Summer Wells vanished without a trace from a small town in Tennessee.

He (Don Wells) sat down with NewsNation to discuss where Summer’s case stands today.

“We’re doing better,” he said. “It’s still very rough for my wife.”

Candus hasn’t sat down for an interview since an appearance on “Dr. Phil” in 2021 where she walked out of an interview in tears.

During the 2021 interview, she said she felt she was being interrogated again and didn’t want to do the interview further.

Since Summer’s disappearance, Don said their life has been consumed by harassment from people online who believe they are responsible for whatever happened to Summer.

“Before you know it, you’re getting a mob going,” Don said. “My wife could go to the store and somebody would scream at her. You know, like, ‘baby killer’ or whatever.”

He sent NewsNation videos from one of his job sites where some people were demanding to speak with him about his missing daughter. He said it got so bad that he had to leave the state.

Now, the two live in a motel in Arkansas where Don was able to find a new job.

As for Summer’s case, her father said they have a private investigator working with the police.

The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office is still working alongside the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, but both agencies declined interviews with our team.

Summer’s father told NewsNation that he still holds onto hope.

“I do have hope. You know, I have hope in God. He’s in control of all things. And so whatever the outcome is, I have hope in God and one day, either sooner or later, I will be with my daughter again,” Don said.

While the sheriff declined an interview, he emailed a response saying he expects to have an update on the case in the “near future.”

Wouldn't it be difficult to get your children back from Tennessee DCS if you're living in Arkansas? Or by "currently staying with family" do they mean simply visiting/vacationing?

I think it's something he has etched into his brain as a response to the shock of it all.
He keeps saying it over and over and over again but it's probably meaningless, really.

Like everything DW says, I find it tough to believe. Who knows IF LE really told him there were no cellphone pings. And IF they did say it, we don’t know if it’s true.

I keep coming back to my original gut reaction, Summer is in that holler but she didn’t get there on her own. IMO.
