Please, please, we need everyone's help to get the word out that Joe is a wanted man. Send out his picture, use myspace, facebook, or whatever means you have to help get this man behind bars. His lies are believable and he is very conniving. Tina was a smart woman, which tells me he was very convincing. She loved him with all her heart. She did not deserve to die.

Not only is Joe a probable wife murder, he also stole money through fraud from a couple he knew for 10 years. Joe the "investor" took over $100,000 from his friends, money that he was supposed to invest for their retirement. My guess there will be more. They still can't find Joe though... facebook page "Where Is Joe Caronna?"

They finally found Joe Caronna, who now has been charged with first degree murder. Caronna was found in Jackson, Tenn. at the "Howard Johnson" hotel off Interstate 40, exit 85. "Bartlett police say they got a tip through their Crime Stoppers hotline that Caronna was there."
Caronna had murdered Tina and left her in her car at a dead end street with beach towels over her body, and her mouth covered with duct tape.
I hope he gets everything he's got comming... my opinion

Federal authorities say insurance agent Joe Caronna, who is charged with killing his wife last year, stole more than a half million dollars from clients to pay for a collection of cars.

The petition alleges that the Cordova man bilked insurance clients of more than $500,000 since 2002.

Authorities said that after his wife was killed, Caronna told one woman client "that he had plenty of money."

The client said Caronna then showed her a safe in his Cordova home that contained jewelry and a zippered pouch that he said contained $30,000 in cash, authorities said.

Bilking clients since 2002 !!! Maybe if he had been caught in this crime spree his wife might still be alive.

Thanks Colette for the update! I wonder why his clients did check their statements and see what was going on with their money. RIP Tina.

Joe Caronna is finally indicted by a grand jury this week. More has come out about Tina's murder.
"The financial services executive’s hands were bound and her mouth was covered with duct tape.

The medical examiner said she died from asphyxiation.".....

Scott Murphy, Tina’s brother, said Thursday night that the family is pleased “to see it’s finally starting to move through the legal system.”

“The wheels are turning now, and we can get set for trial,” he said.

Murphy said the family has watched other high-profile cases — such as the Anne Pressly case in Little Rock — going to trial while their case was on hold.

I posted some on this subject right after the murder. Tina and her brother Scott are my cousins.

Joe Caronna continues to trying to get out on bail. His latest attempt has met with a continuance. He is trying to show that statements he made to the police should not be used to conclude that he's a flight risk.

48 Hours has been keeping up with the story and has a correspondent attending the hearings.

The backlog in the Memphis courts does not afford anyone a "speedy trial".

It could be a long time before the trial.

Hope he suffers every minute of it. Glad justice is on the way, though. We're all thinking of you.

How about the fact that he ran and no one could find him, when he left the state? I can not believe they are even considering bail.

Here is the actual story. Her husband also had a 10-15 year affair but the money was the motive. Tina wanted a new house and all his finances and stealing would be exposed.

From November 2012:

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/local-news/memphis-jury-finds-joseph-caronna-guilty-killing-h

Four years to the day after Tina Caronna's funeral, the husband she affectionately called Joe-Joe was convicted of her murder.

Joseph Caronna, a Cordova insurance agent, showed no outward reaction as the Criminal Court jury on Thursday found him guilty of first-degree murder following an eight-day trial. He was automatically sentenced to life in prison.

From May 2013:

Joseph G. Caronna, 48, was sentenced today to 85 months in federal prison on four counts of defrauding clients of his investment and insurance business, according to a release by U.S. Attorney Edward L. Stanton III.

Caronna pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to one count of mail fraud, two counts of insurance fraud and embezzlement, and one count of money laundering. Caronna is currently in state custody serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Tina. U.S. District Judge S. Thomas Anderson ordered that his federal sentence run consecutive to the state sentence. There is no parole in the federal system.
