  • 'UPDATE: Sunday, March 15, 2026, markes 37 years since Tonetta Carlisle disappeared.
    The Chattanooga Police Department says the 15-year-old was last seen walking home from school near the Hamilton Avenue area. Foul play is suspected.
    Today, Carlisle would be 52 years old. She’s described as a 5’1 Black woman with brown eyes and black hair.

The Hamilton County Cold Case unit is looking for new information in the 1989 disappearance of a 15 year old girl while walking home from school.
