Clarksville Police arrest teens Nautica Spincer, Kerigan Silverwood for shooting death of 17 year old male Juvenile - Clarksville, TN Online

Officers responded the shooting call Sunday, Aug. 19 around 7 a.m. on Granny White Rd. and found the victim dead from a gunshot wound.

Investigators determined 18-year-old Nautica Spicer of Clarksville have been playing with a firearm that was initially unloaded. It was later loaded but Spicer did not realize and pointed it at the teen boy and pulled the trigger. The teen died at the scene.

Kerigan Leann Silverwood, 18, was also at the scene at the time of the shooting and police said she helped Spicer take the gun apart and hide the pieces.

Spicer was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $750,000 bond charged with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence.

Silverwood was also booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $250,000 bond charged with tampering with evidence.

Guns should always be treated with respect. This is no different from texting and driving and killing someone. Looking at the pics, I wonder if the girls are related?
