So sad that I haven't heard anything about this. What a sad and seemingly random brazen killing.

According to her Facebook memorial page, the two were friends and not involved in any sort of trouble. I hope this case can get more traction.

Justice For Josephine "Josi" Nicole Helmandollar

Above post has some interesting details - looks like they were earlier hanging out with a friend of theirs, who was a black man, not knowing he was wanted for murder. Apparently this man's girlfriend was white, and the family suspects it could have been a mistaken identity situation (thinking Josephine and Charles were the suspect and his girlfriend).

Not able to find anything from Charles' family currently.
