Last October, police said the then 18-year-old told them he was playing video games, and his son wouldn't stop crying so he shook him.

How dare the baby needing attention while Daddy was playing X-box! (or whatever) Sigh.. same old story.. babies having babies.

so very sad. Young men really do lose their situational awareness when they are absorbed in a game. My mother always thought us kids glued to the TV would cause the end of society and now I worry about the kids playing vid games.

A Normandy man will spend the next 27 years in prison for killing his infant son for disturbing his video game.

Andrew Keith Johnston, 19, entered a best interest plea on Monday to charges of second degree murder for the death of his 1-month-old son William on Oct. 15 of last year...

Johnston made a written statement that the 1-month-old was crying in his bassinet, and that he became irritated because the crying was interfering with his playing of video games. "I came over to him, held him in my hands and squeezed him harder than what was intended," Johnston wrote. "I then took both of his legs and shook him with enough force to hurt him."
