TN - Woman sues boyfriend after he butt-dialed her during sex with another man, Nashville, Apr 2019

  • #21
I think it’s pretty absurd that he just ceased all communication with her when she confronted him. They were together 4 years!! That’s one slap in the face after another after another

The guy is likely embarrassed about being exposed and he may be in denial about being gay or bisexual. I’m in no way condoning or excusing his behaviour it is indefensible.

HAHAHA awkward...….and wrong!
Darn straight I'd listen if it was my SO and there would be hellz to pay! If true, she has an incurable STD for life. I hope his booty call costs him $1m :p
Hahahaha pay up son. That azz just cost you a cool million. Next time stick with the men, women are vicious when done wrong IMO. And I am a woman.

Uxoricide - Wikipedia

NCADV | National Coalition Against Domestic Violence

“1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence, intimate partner contact sexual violence, and/or intimate partner stalking with impacts such as injury, fearfulness, post-traumatic stress disorder, use of victim services, contraction of sexually transmitted diseases, etc.”
  • “72% of all murder-suicides involve an intimate partner; 94% of the victims of these murder suicides are female.”
those darn statistics.

He should be embarrassed. Not about the sexuality but about the deceitfulness. The lying. The exposing his partner to an incurable illness.

MOO, she should embrace the ghosting. There isn’t anything he can say that will undo the harm.

I would definitely listen.

Quoting you again Gardenista

Had to leave earlier, a few years back I had the pleasure of being butt dialed by husband, (not on good terms at time) he was driving w/friend. I get the call, (happy to see it’s him) say hello and it’s in his side leg pocket, leg dial. lol

It was interesting to hear two grown men talk about their significant other like 2 catty women.
He said something about me that was not true, I listened for 20-25 minutes. After I hung up it ate me up that he LIED. I texted him about an hour later he said I did not want to ever hear that he said that again. He never texted back or said a word to this day.

Would love to been a fly on the wall when he read that text. :)

Under normal circumstances: yes. My mom does it all the time and I roll eyes and hang up. But this is a good question.

Would you hang up if your significant other was butt-dialing you while having sex with someone else? I really don’t know what I‘d do.
No, I wouldn't hang up. :p

I feel bad for her. He has all the right in the world to have sex with a dude, that's fine, he also has every right to not tell anyone that he likes to sleep with other dudes, but he didn't have to lie to her, cheat on her and all around just hurt her feelings like that. And don't get me started on the STD, ewwwwwwwwwww. Poor girl.

It is going to be interesting to see how this goes in court. I think it would be really uncomfortable having intimate details of my sex life discussed in court with expert witnesses trying to determine when I got an std. I might sound dumb but how is the lady going to prove beyond reasonable doubt when she got the incurable std and that her ex-partner was the one that gave her it?

I agree. They're going to drag her through it. It almost sounds like she already had it and (possibly?) didn't know it. But for how long -doubt they can prove that. Someone with medical knowledge might be able to say for sure.

It's hard to believe she didn't catch it from ex during their 4yr relationship. So could be new infection, or might not.

I think the complication of a third party in her claim will just muddy things up if all she wants to prove is ex gave it to her. That makes me believe there's more details about ex and his rendevous man and a timeline we aren't privy to. Unless the mention of the third party is only to bring to light that's what made her get tested.

I do understand wanting revenge, but things sound a little tricky, and hsv2 is a very common std.

I wish her luck

Imagine what the "third wheel / rendezvous guy / other person " may be thinking. What the hell did I do to get dragged into this mess?!

I hope she wins . I hope the other guy sues, too. And wins.

Practice safe sex cheater people! (As if!)

I had a similar situation a decade or more ago. I called my best friend and she tried to send me to voicemail but answered instead. She was talking to someone else at the time and then started to tell them about me.

I listened, absolutely I listened. It's like being a fly on the wall and actually hearing what people say behind your back. Then I just didn't contact her again.

A few weeks later she called and left me a message because she hadn't heard from me. I left her a message simply saying "If you actually don't know why you haven't heard from me, I'll be happy to explain it to you. But I think you know very well."

Had nothing to do with her for ten years or more. Then one day she contacted my Dad and asked if I could contact her. She was now in rehab doing the 12 steps and wanted to make amends. We picked right back up but I keep her much more at a distance.

I so wish I'd had the same option with significant others who were lying through their teeth! So much trouble would have been saved.
