Today I'm angry

Oh, I totally agree! If I were President the first thing I would do is take away criminals rights to a fair trial. Only innocent people should get fair trials. Period. Next, all criminals should be forced to talk by whatever means necessary. The right to remain silent is ridiculous. And when criminals do talk, they better tell the Gods honest truth or else. Lying to save your skin is just as serious, if not more so, than the crime itself. The public takes lying VERY personally and it will NOT be tolerated. Next, for sure I would take away all criminals rights regarding counsel. Criminals do not deserve the right to any sort of defense. Any lawyers who think otherwise are worthy of utter contempt and should hang their heads in shame. They are snakes and roaches. Finally, I would deal with criminals right to be treated humanely. What's up with that?! Jails and prisons should be as miserable and degrading and as inhumane as possible. Why should criminals be comfortable? Only innocent people should be able to read books and eat poptarts in prison. It's ridiculous! That's my 2 cents. ~DEB

I assume your comment is tongue in cheek. If this was directed at me I'll again say that any parent who *loses* a child and proceeds to take LE to their non-existent place of employment and tells lie after lie should be under particular scrutiny and some of the laws in place to allow them to keep silent should be reviewed and revised. That is all.

Thinking about Casey eating hot meals, getting a shower, buying things in the jail store, reading, chatting it up with Jose and not saying a darn word about her sweet little girls whereabouts makes me want to flog her!

uh, remind me not to vote for you then. your views scare me. how would you determine which ones are "criminals" or "innocent"? Do you know how many men are being exonerated by DNA right now for crimes they didn't commit but were convicted of in the 70s on the basis of witness testimony? they are victims of insane injustices in our legal system, and why I believe that DNA testing is one of the best technological advances of the 21st century. I would rather NOT turn jails into Soviet gulags or Chinese prisons, but again, that's my opinion.

On a positive note, Leonard Padilla will be searching the Econolatchee River in Blanchard Park near where a cross was found with beads similar to craft beads seen by the lady guarding Casey while she was out on bail in the Anthony house. He believes it was a memorial and the waters have gone down, so he's putting a diver in the river tomorrow! Maybe, just maybe, something will be found!

Don't give up hope yet, folks!

Lovin me some Leonard right now :)

I am very angry and disgusted. I feel like I could literally puke right now. I HATE Casey!!!!

The good people of FL will continue search for her regardless of any official search team pulling out....THAT I'm sure of.

I am sure many of us are angry that Casey won't talk. I can't imagine being so afraid of my mother/father/brother that I would hold back. I would have the guilt of my daughter alone no matter where she was. Dead or alive. I would have to make myself feel better by telling someone else. This just shows us all how sick this girl is. unfortuneatly it isn't a mental sickness. It is a social sickness. And yes I have to blame Cindy and George in a way. No child should have to be so worried to tell their parent anything.

I just find it hard to believe that she is afraid of her parents, especially the way she talks to them. Every other word is the "F" word. She screams at them, rumors of terrible fights at their house. If I would have said the "F" word just one time at my house, I would have been wearing dentures by the time I was 22!

while we are all very angry at Casey for putting everyone through this, perhaps we can take comfort that when Caylee is found, and found dead as I believe she will be, what they will find is her body, but it is no longer "her". Her soul departed a long time ago. She is at peace - she is with God in a beautiful place. It's just a physical body remaining, but she is no longer suffering.

also, while we all wish justice could be swiftly meted out, and we would all like Casey to suffer, one day when she physically leaves this Earth, it will be a very hot, uncomfortable place that SHE's going to. If justice cannot be meted out while she is alive, hopefully it will be, in the afterlife.

I am so disheartened right now, so sad for Caylee and that there is no resolution yet. I have prayed for this little girl to be found like I would a blood relative, and I know thousands of others have to, I just don't understand it. KC must have had help that took Caylee far away to be disposed of(or she's in the A's backyard) or she herself did something to her that made sure she would never be found. I want the harshest, fullest punishment for KC now more than ever. JMO

Tomorrow at 8 am LP has divers who will be searching the Econ (latchee) river in J Blanchard near where a cross which closely resembles a cross that Casey has been wearing. Don't give up yet!

I am thoroughly confused!!! After seeing TM video on Murts site, I logged off due to the "pressure cooker" about to explode...I log back in a few hrs later and now there is another search ? Please fill me in as to wth is going on here! It's bad enough with all the spin from the A's, now were getting it from our heros as well...please, update me so I can understand and my migraine can stop progressing! TIA

(Bolded by me) HappyChic727 for President!!!!:blowkiss::clap:
Thanks! I am not a mean person but geez, enough is enough. I just can't imagine our laws allow this but I got fined for letting my cats roam free to the tune of $266 a few years ago, just paid a $54 ticket for going through a yellow light . . . oh, I have lots to say about our system and how it sucks.

"...Let's see how long you keep that secret when we don't feed you or give you water or another roll of toilet paper."

I understand your passion. I do. I am also disgusted. But the problem I have when I hear people talking about waterboarding and torture and witholding food, etc. is that we as a country don't believe in that (for U.S. citizens, supposedly).

I don't know what the answer is, I truly don't. I have to hold back my feelings of disgust for the entire family so much that I really don't post much here anymore because I can't openly express how I feel without being banned and I do enjoy reading.

Here's what it's about. The ONE innocent person who might be tortured or starved. That's one too many. I know how I feel about the players in this case and it ain't good. But torture is not the way and even to mention it and bring it into public discourse is a shame on us all.

We have to believe that this particular woman will be tried and convicted and believe me, if she is convicted the judge will give her the harshest sentence possible. Strickland is fair but no fool.

So that's all I have to say. We can't torture an innocent person and if you change the law for one you can't take it back for another. Nothing personal, I TOTALLY understand the anger.
I know, I know . . . but it's not right that this baby is either alive in God knows what kind of people have her or dead in of some waterway and there is no way to open KC's mouth to get it out. It's frustrating. If I was her mother, I would have sat on her sorry A$$ until she spilled the beans. No ifs, ands or buts. I would squish her like a bug.

My mother and I were discussing this last night; she said if it were her daughter, she would have never let it get to this point. I agree with her. My momma would have beat the truth out of me long ago. LOL.

Same here and same to my daughter from me...........and my WHOLE family would be there pleading and making food for seachers to keep ourselves from going nuts!!! All the $$$ I have would be going to find her!!!

My gosh. I understand your constitutional right to free speech. But please support mine in return when I say this post really scares me. Only innocent people should get fair trials? Well, at least you grant trials to those who are innocent.

The right to remain silent? Are you married? (LOL) I am. I use that right constantly. And I'm neither charged nor guilty of anything!

Criminals don't deserve counsel? I pray you're never accused of a wrongdoing. In these days of a very litigious society, people are sue crazy which, admittedly, is different than a criminal trial. But even in a civil trial, someone is accused of doing something wrong, whether it's not paying a bill; bouncing a check; running a stop light; lots of pages in law books of things that are wrong to do. But withhold counsel? I hope not. Cause then what you get are those innocent people sitting in prison eating poptarts and reading.

I personally am infuriated with this whole case. The actions and inactions of the family, especially KC. Now I'm not saying it would hurt my feelings at all if she were to meet with some tragic accident, but I'm certainly not wishing it on her. I don't want my soul damned. But my anger is at the people involved, not the system, which tries valiantly to keep us a civilized society.

IMO, all 3 A's on the outside should be in jail..........separate them and see who breaks first. They covered up for kc............they know stuff they won't tell to LE.......just maybe they will spill a clue on TV since like Scott P, can't keep mouths shut............may be a good thing!

I think she's speaking from an emotional viewpoint. It's not well thought out and neither was my post but we can't understand how a person can act like KC does and get away with it, while so many people, who never heard of Caylee or laid eyes on her before her picture appeared on the television, are praying for her, searching for her, having dreams and visions about her and her mother just goes on lying about everything under the sun and she has the right to remain silent and is enforcing that right, under her attorney's instructions, but a person with a heart, a mother with a heart, would not be able to keep from crying, keep from shouting out to the world, "Please bring my Caylee back, I'll do anything, just please, bring her back."

Future Criminoligist, I 100% agree with you. We actually live a society with corrupt prosecutors not divulging the actual truth or evidence. I believe Casey Anthony is guilty of killing that SWEET LITTLE BABY, however, this country was built on Innocent until proven guilty. Let's see what the Jury says when she stands trial. She is a liar, a thief, and a maniupulator. Her parents are no better than she is lying to protect her, however, we can not judge this in the court of opinion, because our opinion legally does not count. Thanks for listening to me..... Have a great day!!!

I'm looking to focus any anger I have into something productive :). Positively focused anger is a dangerous weapon! Seriously though, trying to change the laws for missing children may be a good place to channel some energy.

The 31 day wait in this case is one of the biggest SINS. It put everyone and everything behind the eight ball. I'm sure evidence was destroyed, surveillance tapes taped over, people's memories faded, ad nauseum. In my opinion all the state agencies, the FBI, TES, and so on did the best they could do with what they had. I can't express to the out of towners how much this is a needle in a haystack. And a degraded needle at that!

The locals still have their hearts in this, so if that makes you feel good then know many of us here on the ground haven't forgotten about her and will not any time soon.
