Today I'm angry

  • #41
Thinking about Casey eating hot meals, getting a shower, buying things in the jail store, reading, chatting it up with Jose and not saying a darn word about her sweet little girls whereabouts makes me want to flog her!

The thing is, KC -- probably thanks to the support of JB -- is playing an extremely high stakes game. Maybe, just maybe, her keeping quiet will be her savior but -- if things develop either with forensics DNA, the discovery of Caylee before trial or, she is convicted at trial it just makes her look more terrible -- so she pays a higher price at sentencing.

What makes me feel better in all of this is, if the dominoes fall as we hope they will she will just pay a higher price for her smugly holding out.

She can smugly sit there enjoying LWOP for an eternity.

I think she's speaking from an emotional viewpoint. It's not well thought out and neither was my post but we can't understand how a person can act like KC does and get away with it, while so many people, who never heard of Caylee or laid eyes on her before her picture appeared on the television, are praying for her, searching for her, having dreams and visions about her and her mother just goes on lying about everything under the sun and she has the right to remain silent and is enforcing that right, under her attorney's instructions, but a person with a heart, a mother with a heart, would not be able to keep from crying, keep from shouting out to the world, "Please bring my Caylee back, I'll do anything, just please, bring her back."

I understand the emotional viewpoint; truly I do. First on my list of things that infuriate me, well, I'll do a quick list (hopefully) of some of what has made me angry in this case:

1) A beautiful, helpless, defenseless, innocent child has been taken off this earth, before she even had a chance.
2) That same child's, hmmmm, thinking of a phrase to use here -- The woman who provided a womb in which that child grew, couldn't care less.
3) And I don't hear much about this anymore...that same innocent child's grandmother stated, I think within the first week of this case breaking, that she would 'walk every inch of the earth' to find her. Well, I'm still waiting for her to walk.

And before anyone jumps on me, I know that innocent child's name is Caylee. As in where is Caylee. My emphasis here is on her innocence.

Still and all, I hate to think that emotion and rage would work to undermine the laws of a land for which many lives were given to enact those laws. They're not perfect, those laws, but they're the best in the world.

And, BTW, I thought some more about your post. Not only am I a mother, I am a grandmother, of the most incredible almost-7-year old little man. From the very beginning, my hubby and I have discussed just what you wrote about. How the he!! could a mother, a grandmother, a grandfather, and an uncle of ANY child allow this to happen? How? It's all so totally unconscionable. But then again, you, my hubby and I, and all the others who pose the same question, are good, caring, people -- with souls.

Ugh! So here we go again...Cindy spewing her stuff. If she can't tell the identity of the child on the tape...just how in the sam hill does she expect to find out by Monday who it is?! Her magic genie? Or maybe they are going to hang out at the store in case they come back?! WTH?!

Also...instead of waiting to call...you have a child who is missing and you don't STOP the person seen with that child while calling the police in Gainsville to check it out?! What in the hell is wrong with people who just so happen to also have Cindy's phone number?!?! :

"They just haven't found anything," Cindy Anthony said. "Discouraging for them but encouraging for us."

Overnight, Cindy Anthony said she and her husband, George, drove to Gainesville to follow up on a possible Caylee sighting.

"They saw a little girl with a gentleman shopping in a store, gave us a call and said, 'I think you need to check this out,'" she said.

The Anthonys said they could not tell the child's identity from a store security video, but they hope to find out on Monday.

The problem is Cindy. She has never acted like a mother to Casey. A normal mother would not have tolerated this!! You bet we would have stood up to this little spiteful B*tch and in no way would it have gone on this long.

The day Caylee went missing...we would have known and immediately started looking high and low for her. (Most would not have allowed Casey with her known issues to have taken Caylee anywhere to begin with!!) If we had, we would have kept very close tabs and the minute we were not allowed communication with the child...she would have been toast.

31 days my @ss!!! Casey would not have lasted 31 minutes with me!! If she thought she was petrified of Cindy...she should know she would have been nursing her flipping bruises and begging for her broken arm to be set by the time I was finished with her!! GRRRR!

We both would have needed lawyers by the time I got the truth from my daughter!!!!

Gee, and the Anthonys wonder why LE doesn't follow up on all of these type of fantastic 'leads?'

I'll bet my bottom dollar that in the future we'll hear about a concerted effort by the Anthonys to disrupt & block TES' latest search efforts. I wouldn't be surprised to learn about all sorts of subversive tactics they might have used to rush TES out of town again.

I know Tim has gone on record to say he & the Anthonys have come to an agreement but I think he was merely being diplomatic to keep them from snapping TOO loudly.

Honestly, it's time for George & Cindy to retire the Caylee T-Shirts & just say it like it REALLY is...... change to "We Support & Defend Caylee's Killer" T-Shirts.

I was terribly angry today. I have given $ and food to TES for normal folk like us to search for this little girl while the person(s) who could end this all is/are sitting around on their thumbs. I'm angry that things are slow to come to fruition. I am angry that she may never be found. I'm angry that people defend this woman. I'm angry that I can't be there in FL to help search. But! After riding with Murt today, I have a tiny glimmer of hope that she will be found. So, feeling a teeny bit better about today and have hope as IMO that necklace is of significance.

Good job KC. You managed to isolate Calyee from anyone that would notice or care that she was missing for 31 days. kudo's to you Cindy. You never had the guts to take a stand to your daughter when you knew she lies and steals. yeah, you could have challenged her stories but you didn't. You let her give you excuses about where Caylee was for 31 days. You could have given us 31 extra days of searching but you picked the easy way out. You both deserve credit for this.

Anger is natural...I'm right there with you. Bringing this over from the "All About Caylee" thread that...perhaps...after venting it might bring you some peace.

Irish Prayer for the Lost

O, Blessed Mother and St Joseph,
you searched when your Son Jesus
disappeared when he was twelve.
You would not give up
until he was found.
You know the pain of having someone missing,
and the joy of finding them,
as you found your son.
Help those who are searching now,
to find the answers to their questions,
and an end to their searching.
Inspire people to be vigilant,
so that their eyes and ears
may see and hear news that will bring hope.
Comfort those who feel lonely and sad
because the one they love has vanished.
Be with them in the storm
and guide them in their efforts.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Peace be with you.

I understand you guys are upset and frustrated - I am too - but there is nothing we can do about it - I get disgusted every time I hear the A's speak - but then I need to tell myself, I can't control that situation, there is absolutely nothing I can do about it - the only thing I can do is pray that the proper punishment is given to Casey and the A's - unless I move to Orlando now, search for Caylee, try to get on the jury - there is nothing I can do

So I pray for the return of Caylees body, that Casey gets the proper punishment and I make darn sure my daughters and I are nothing like this freakshow

This, and this attitude may be the thing that breaks TM and TES' back.

Why should he both expending all of his and everyone's elses resources searching for Caylee when the A family, as a convenient distraction chase a red herring sighting that while may have been well-intended was timed perfectly!

Who on earth would not dial 911 and have the LE there immediately?, follow the group in question and keep them in sight or get a car registration number? or, risk losing the $225,000 reward?

Who would just call the A family and say, hey you might want to come on down and check this out! No matter how quickly you responded and drove there, you can NEVER get there as quickly as LE can and -- its moot.

Of course the child on the security tape cannot be recognized and they know it cannot be Caylee. It is just a convenient counter action.

Why should TES search when there are families that desperately want to find their missing kids and -- the A family not only do NOT honestly support the search AND are not holding KC accountable or pressing her.

This is all about defending KC.

ITA. This "sighting" was just another play in what they seem to believe is a game. The only thing they are serious about is throwing up smokescreens.

First of all, Casey is NOT "getting away with it." She is going to trial, unless she confesses and changes her plea to guilty to avoid the death penalty. I know it seems that the wheels of justice turn slowly at times, but they do turn... eventually.

Believe it or not, there are people who don't want to go through legitimate LE channels for something like this. They prefer to contact the families themselves. Orlando LE is no longer following up sightings, because THEY know Caylee is dead. But there are still people out there who might see a child and think, "Gee, that looks like that little girl in Orlando who went missing..." and they don't keep up with the case like we all do, so they call the tip line the A's set up. Would you not go and check it out if it were your child or grandchild?
It might not make much sense to us, but the A's still have hope that Caylee is alive and I can't fault them for that.

I have certainly became way to involved emotionally with this case. I sat in this chair for 14 hours yesterday, and almost the same today. Nothing is done at home and I swear Friday was 5 minutes ago.
Its time for me to take a step back. When TES pulls out on Monday and LP finishes his underwater search, I am going to ban myself for a while due to my anger, and the depression I feel sinking into me right now. I must step back and take care of my family as tonight I feel like I am letting them down.
I will continue to read as I get a chance, but right now need to get my mind straight before I can become productive again.
I will not give up hope for Caylee's remains to be found, and pray to God tonight that this stress and anger today was worth what I feel could be possibly being hidden by the search this weekend.
I love you all,
<<<<officially on a time out>>>>>>

Im curious as to whether this "sighting" came up before or after CA made arrangements to on GMA Monday morning? Isn't it convenient that they can on national tv and say "not only did TES not find Caylee's body (which we never believed they would- we KNOW she's alive) but look- we got another live sighting of Caylee which we had to check out, because LE is only looking for a dead body!"
What a crock! I'm so PO'd that this woman is allowed to continue to try and spin things to her and KC's advantage. Does she really believe people are so stupid???? Like no one would question why someone thinking they saw Caylee wouldn't immediately call LE? That it is just by chance that they happened to have CA's phone # handy? That anyone with common sense would at least grab a security guard and say-hey, can you stop that man- that little girl with him looks exactly like the missing Anthony kid? enough-my head's going to explode!!!

Snipped a bit....
Glad you caught that too! Why wouldn't the Gainesville LE be called as well? Nope, this never happened...sorry, just a little diversion created by the A's spinning the media back over into their corner for some coverage.

I am angry with anyone who kills another person. KC isn't special. She is a run of the mill child killer. There are lots of them out there. If you all stop thinking that she is clever, smart, pretty, cunning, etc. you will see that she is none of the above.

She is just another low class coward of a criminal with no sense of morals, no values and no conscience. She doesn't deserve to be on a pedestal as if she is unique in some way, she isn't. Let her drift into obscurity in prison. Forget her and her family.

Don't search for Caylee. She is gone forever and not even her own family wants her found or worries about a burial for her. God has her now, there is nothing you can do here for her and she is fine.

Stop blaming her parents for every little word they speak. The whole family was a bubble off center long before KC gave birth and nothing they say makes sense or will ever convince anyone that KC was ever a loving, nuturing mother. Just saying it won't make it so.

They don't want her found, fine. Let's focus on a child who is missing and whose family is desperate to find the child. The A's are fine with never knowing what happened as long as KC is safe. I don't understand them, but that is because I am not psychotic.

Let them sleep in the beds they made for themselves. No one hates them more than they hate each other right now.

Where is Caylee? She was tossed like trash into a dumpster and hauled away. KC did not bury the child or memorialize her burial place, only people who loved the dead person do these things. She did not love Caylee because she is incapable of feeling love. She tossed her and drove away to clear her car of the stench.

KC DID NOT walk into snake and alligator infested swampy land to dump the body. She didn't want to touch the body for that long and would never walk into a snake and spider infested woods carrying a stinky body and a shovel. She prefers the mall.

KC takes the easy way out, she always has. She didn't work, finish school or take any responsibility as a parent, leaving this task to her own parents. She did the same when she dumped Caylee. No effort on her part, other than lifting her into the dumpster.
