I just saw that, too. I got a screen cap of it.

I wonder if something IS going to happen at 11:00am.

I'm curious about the 11:00am time as well. Why 11? After what George said this morning about loving his family & this being the hardest thing he has had to do, I really am beginning to think that he may know much more than he has previously let on and is about to let it all spill. At least that is what I hope for. Because I really doubt we will ever learn the truth if Casey is the only one who knows anything. She'll never talk in my opinion.

grrrrr I had to go do some stuff, so just getting here. I'm not local, so no local news. Could somebody tell me how George looked coming out after testifying?

Thanks!

Does anyone know if George is allowed to remain in the jury room and hear other witness testimony?

NO.............no one but the witness testifying and the DA can be in there.

"9:37 a.m. Outside the courthouse, George Anthony's attorney Mark NeJame told reporters that his client is there to testify against Casey Anthony for consideration of homicide charges "concerning his beloved granddaughter Caylee Marie." "George is getting ready to do the unimaginable," NeJame said. Then George Anthony said that he loves his daughter, wife, and son and asked for prayers for Caylee and his family. "This is going to be very hard for me to do," George Anthony said."

OMG poor George everyone be thinking about him please as he is about to turn his back on the people he loves for the good of justice for his precious granddaughter... I truly feel sooo sad for him...Just think about how hard that will be for him.

George looked so heartbroken -- resigned, but resolute. I feel so sorry for him today. I hope he can feel the prayers and kind wishes of support for doing the right thing. Casey has her mom to go to the mat for her. Today, I believe George will stand up for Caylee by telling the truth -- perhaps (and hopefully) much more than we've been privy to.

GrizzySmith said KC had a court date today. If that is true they may be trying to get an indictment by the GJ while she is in court to arrest her there.

Does anyone know about a court hearing today for KC?

Dog handler next to testify
10:45 a.m. Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Forgey was called before the grand jury. He had testified earlier in a bond hearing that his cadaver dog alerted on the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. This signaled that a body was once held there. The dog also alerted to a section of the Anthonys' backyard but nothing was found when officials dug up the area.

Can anyone tell me why you think the GJ will come back with an answer today? I'm just wondering if the GJ in Florida differs from that in Illinois.

They know what his written statement says. They know what info they have so why would they NEED to prepare a witness. Doesn't happen that I know of.

I'm telling you that I know for a FACT that it does happen

As I said

I was a witness to a Crime

I gave a statement to the Detective that was investigating that crime & told him if I would be more than happy to help any way that I can

3 weeks later I recieved a Phonecall from that same Detective who told me that a GJ was hearing testimony related to the Crime I witnessed

The Day of my Testimony the detective escorted me to the DA's office that was located right next door to the Court Room in which I was Testifying

The DA told me that he had read my statement

He also had several other questions & we discussed exactly what I witnessed

We also disscussed what questions he would be asking me

This is a common practice - There is nothing irregular or improper about it

I am a bit surprised at MN's comments, I must say. Interesting choice of words.

We are comparing apples and oranges here. The FBI is NOT the DA.

I think but not 100% sure that she has to finish up being arraigned for all pending check/fraud charges. If that's the case, her presence isn't mandatory, tho'.:)

"Rumor" has it that this is not the 1st day of the GJ hearing evidence, but the icing on the cake so to speak..

I asked WESH under the Passing Hour Mark blog:

WESH - great coverage today! Thanks!! I was wondering if you knew why George is asking for prayers specifically at 11:00 a.m.? Is there a significance to that time?

An emotional George Anthony did make a short statement before entering the courthouse and asked that people stop at 11:00am and 11:00pm to pray for his granddaughter, Caylee. It was unclear the significance of the time.
