They should investigate the parents. Children do and say what they know. There's domestic violence and likely child neglect in that home.

My thoughts, too, @PayrollNerd -- something on TV, something at home, on the street, etc., has shown or told these very young children how to react to LE.
Hoping the kids can get counseling to see what is causing them to be hostile (and perhaps fearful) at such a young age. A sad story that may get worse in no time. It is fixable, I'm sure, but sooner is better.
Scary and very sad.
