ONE fear drove a toddler to hide from rescuers searching desperately for him in bushland on the NSW south coast but another may have saved his life.
More than 24 hours after he went missing from a campsite on the banks of Burrill Lake, south of Ulladulla, searchers found 22-month-old Cooper Jones early today wet, cold and with water dimpled hands and feet.
