How about Evelyn Henriquez?

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?111677-NY-Evelyn-Henriquez-29-Brooklyn-13-Aug-1993

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/h/henriquez_evelyn.html
The timeline is a bit long -almost 4 years. Since some reports have said Peaches could have a very small percentage of African American ancestry I wondered if she could be Puerto Rican, which might explain this (I cannot tell for sure if Evelyn is Puerto Rican). Evelyn's children's father is an NYPD officer.
Some posters mentioned submitting her I don't know if they actually did.

Does anyone know if the police has ordered a lie dector test for the tattoo artist... That may help too tell if he is lieing or not

They can't order one, they can request one and he can refuse. Then that's that. They wanted the Doc to take one but he refused. He said it would interfere with his defibrillator or something. I have read though it doesnt actually intefere with the device its the stress you are under when taking the test that can affect you and then how your defib reacts to your heartbeat. Anyway a person can't be forced to take a lie detector test.

So attention comes to him and baby doe and all the suddenly we find the body. Hes Suspicious to me cause he should have records on a computer or something and should remember her name and be able to do a sketch. Every tattoo artist I know would be able to and his story keeps changing and tattoo artists travel for work they'll do guest spots and likely when peaches died he worked for someone else(how long has he owned the place?) as an apprentice we should find info on that.
They're like therapists so people tell them everything he would know if she would be missed and it would explain nobody recognizing the tattoo. Maybe whatever the Jane doe with the measss up tattoo is bad a design that would point back to him.

No not good at all. The mother doesn't even know that's her daughter yet call wanting to get the son a tattoo. I call B.S. on that. A real mom would be there wrecking his tattoo studio trying to find her child and grandchild wanting more info and wanting the girl with the peach tattoo to NOT be her daughter. She may even force him to sketch the girl he tattoo'd by whatever means necessary. Not looking to get a tattoo. I know how I would handle the situation. I wouldn't be skipping out with a tattoo. I have a kind of far fetched theory but its worth it....... What if the killer was peach's boyfriend/husband and when found out that peach's was going too have a baby,,, he went on a rampage and killed her,,,, then he wrapped her body in some sheets.... Stuffed her in a plastic tote and dumped her in the middle of the woods where he thought no one would find her body

Well remember that baby doe is said to have been a toddler and they only found peaches torso. But yes it's a possibility but it would have happened after the baby was born.

Re: tattoo artist. I happen to think he's full of it (moo) if he could remember SO many details about her why couldn't he remember a name? And reasons for him to lie (as someone doubted previously)? How about free national publicity/advertising?
I agree and don't believe her mom even called and if he wants more fame why not remember the info and maybe crack the case? Less he's hanging stories and not giving us the real one cause it's him

He wants his 15 minutes of fame for Tattoo business. Imagine Peaches mother calling to say her son wanted a Tattoo to honor Peaches, don't you think she would have claimed the remains as her daughters and the grand daughter. (unless of course it was Peter Hackett calling).

He had 2 stories about Peaches

The artist recalled that Peaches was visiting from LI with her aunt and cousin and mentioned having boyfriend trouble.

Then the artist said she was visiting from the Bronx and staying with a friend in Connecticut and they were going to a party and she used to live in Connecticut.

In either case she had family or friends, and no one reported her missing?

I don't believe anything he says, If Josh and Rachel thought he was reliable they would have interviewed him for the show. Plus if he was even half reliable we would know who Peaches is by now.

The no records story after the place was flooded, who keeps thier records on the floor? Aren't they usually in upright filing cabinets? For space purposes especially if you are renting a store?
I bet he has records but doesn't want to help because he's hiding stuff and I know how well they get to know client and he's know if she's easy picking cause he doesn't seem too worried about helping out the investigation

Maybe we need too do a little more research on the tattoo artist and see what kind of backgrround he has

I agree unless she heard the killers voice and that was him and she's scared. Or she had the wrong number but still can't it be traced? For all we know she tried more and we just don't know of it. What race is the baby? Besides what peaches is can't they figure out the dads ethnicity also?

Exactly and where he apprenticed before he had his current shop and if he did guest apparences other locations and where else he's lived etc any records for arrests also

The artist did not seek fame. He did not seek out Josh and Rachael and did not ask AMW to do a show on UID? He called LE in 1997 after recognizing his tattoo in a magazine. Fast forward 20 years and people want background checks and polygraphs.

The artist initially said Peaches came into the shop with her Aunt and cousin. YEARS later he said she came in with a friend. His memory is fuzzy where that is concerned. Time can do that. Our take on the call differs. Some think he lied and is playing a game. Theres a killer out there that likes to play games with phones.

Exactly!. He said his records were destroyed by floods. That is very likely. Paper records and computer hard drives. I do believe a call was made but it was not her mother. Her mother would be raising h*** with the police dept and probably the tattoo guy demanding answers not calling to inquire about some memorial type tattoo when she doesn't even know for a fact Peaches Doe is her child. The tattoo artist is not to blame but if he could sketch out what he remembers of her could help. If he would look through missing person's it would help.

Who knows he may even have got a visit after his tip and told to keep his mouth shut. Jmo

It seems the artist memory is fuzzy about who Peaches came into his shop with. He said the caller said Peaches has a 17yr old son. I wonder if his memory is off with that also? Could the caller have said daughter? It was 2012 when he got the call. Wouldnt that put Peaches daughter at 17 yrs old if she was still alive?

Tattoo artists see many different people go in and out of their shop. I'd be surprised if he actually remembered what she said or what she looked like after so many years had passed. If it was a large piece, over a few sessions, then yeah maybe. But it's such a small tattoo, what would make it memorable? I've been in dozens of conversations with my artist over the years. If you asked what we spoke about the first time I went to his shop, neither of us would have a clue.

Guys, if he was the murderer why in the world would he contact LE after he saw the story? "Oh hey I murdered this gal and her baby; I should definitely put myself on law enforcement's radar" 😂 Does peter Hackett moonlight as a tattoo artist?
