Holy friggin' moley... I had no idea Cher had ever dated Tiny Tom. Of course, it was back in the 80's, prior to the internet... but I don't ever remember a word of that rumor circulating. Of course, Cher never did have good taste in men, so I shouldn't be surprised she dated Tom. I love Cher, and loved her music so much when I was growing up... but she's definitely had trouble with men ever since I've followed her career.

I just did a little checking around (having all but fainted after reading Tom and Cher dated), and found he also dated Melissa Gilbert.

Having dated Cher and Melissa Gilbert, Cruise would be with Rogers (six years his senior) for three years. Together they would serve on the board of the environmentally concerned Earth Communications Office.

Oh heavens! I used to watch Rosie all of the time and she was crazy about Tiny Tom Cruise. I remember Nicole being on the show and Rosie asking her if it bothered her because she...Rosie...was in love with "Tommy." Nicole said it didn't bother her at all. Of course she probably knew that Rosie preferred women anyway. Then Tiny Tom came on the show and Rosie was just in heaven. If he would have jumped on her couch she would have jumped over there and hoped he would jump on her lap. She really did make a fool of herself over him. I think if he had given Rosie the high sign she would have forgotten all about her girlfriend and been gone with Tiny.

I agree, Bobbisangel... I have a real clear picture of Rosie telling Tom to not jump. And like I think Tiny Tom would listen to anyone on the planet in the first place. I get the feeling if you told him "don't jump", he would jump higher.

Rosie did make an absolute "fool" out of herself with Cruise. She was gah gah all over him and it was not funny nor was it cute. Made me wanna :sick: Why she would degrade herself like that was beyond me but she did the same with Streisand too. yuck yuck.

Blaming Oprah - what a laugh! (guess she doesn't like her) - what a stupid thing to say! There is absolutely NO WAY Rosie would have told Cruise not to jump. You bet - she would have encouraged him and if he did fulfil her fantasy by jumping in her lap I suspect she would have carried him around in her usual desperation of getting another laugh.

Tom ended the marriage(he filed) because Nic was pregnant and he didn't believe that he was the father. A dna test was done after Nic miscarried and the baby was his. She was very upset when he filed. When asked by a reporter why he filed, he only replied, "Nic knows the reason." He is a fool. The results of the dna testing was brought out during the divorce litigations. I have never liked him since he pulled that crap on Nic. He is a big fat loser imo.

I had not heard the baby part. I knew his few terse comments seemed to blame her for something, but I always assumed it was an affair. I never really followed it much becasue he got so ga ga about Scientology that it really turned me off and then the whole Brooke business made me furious with him. I have to wonder if Katie is having some post partum issues - I hope not for her sake because he'll just shove vitamins at her and tell her to cheer up, but it would be poetic justice if that WAS the case. I feel so sorry for Katie.

John Travolta is a Scientologist (as is Kirstie Alley) but not as outspoken or recruiting about it.
