I've been thinking the same thing. Marrying someone from one's own faith is a deal-breaker for a lot of people. Why wouldn't TC do that?

Is this their way of recruiting? Seems silly now that his past 3 wives have "opted out."

I have a feeling that if there is a next Mrs. Cruise she'll be fully hypnotized by the time they have her meet TC. No more trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Katie has now given every scientology locked woman a blueprint for getting out and keeping your kids.

Also, as soon as he starts dating again the scientology BS will be examined closely by the media wondering if she's on board with scientology. What's going to happen to her to get her on board, etc...

We shall see where DM's loyalty lies. Personally, I believe it lies 100% with himself.

The story there that I have heard from some that I still know who are involved in the COS is that at least 100 women in the COS were "auditioned" for the job of being Tom's new wife and none of them struck his fancy, so they heard Katie had always had a little girl like crush on Tom and she agreed to join the COS so they picked her to marry him.


Obviously she knows now what a mistake that was, personally I think TC and DM are secret lovers if you catch my drift.

what religion is on the hush? Unless it has a reason – often abuse.

Being that they, like a few other cults/religions like The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, shun ex members and refuse to allow current members to communicate with family and friends who are non members etc, it wouldnt be very difficult at all to "disappear" people or even make things look like "suicide" I heard of one Scientologist lady who killed herself by shooting herself 3 times in the back of her head, yeap.

Juat to be clear it was a MISSION that left, a mission in Israel, there is a difference between a mission and an ORG, a mission is a very small group of Scientologists an Org is much much bigger, the mission that left was made up of about 50 people. It is still a big loss because Israel doesnt have much of a COS presence there is only one other ORG in Tel Aviv and now this smaller mission which I understand was growing pretty fast, has broke off.


This all reminds me of the schism between the Catholics and the Protestants back in the days of Martin Luther, you have the COS (Catholic Church) and now a lot of people are leaving to form their own independent Scientology study groups much like the early Protestants did. Although the Catholic Church was rich and powerful enough to withstand something like that the COS is not and if this trend of break aways continue it may very well be the end of the COS, that MISSION in Israel, as I understand, brought in to the COS 100 million dollars alone and that is only a SMALL MISSION, its not even an ORG which like I said is much, much bigger than a Mission.

I am sad and angry to hear they are in Israel at all. Wish they can get kicked out. but who am I to say. they are a democratic country. Land of the free.

I do not think RLH was brilliant. I think he was evil. No different than Hitler who was supposedly brilliant too.
But in my interpretation of brilliant... It would have to include doing to benefit not to harm.
I read enough of the Scientology BS in the past 4 pages. I know enough about them. I am out of here.

I am almost positive he found her. My friends and I worked at the same bar on the beach for 5 years, so he would have come back looking still if she had never turned up.

But I think they were trying to scare her, and wanted to make sure she was not going to spill any top secret COS stuff. He also said she was slurring her words and sounded drunk, so maybe they were 'clearing' her using something to fog her memory up.

Yes it is a way of recruiting, Maybe for someone high up (like TC) to convert someone is also about ego, and points with David the snake.

But I think TC can get many more wives - I think he will have many more. I think he will go for a young one again - more malleable.
The next one won’t have a LAWYER as a dad, who saw to it, from the start and at the end that Kate be safe.
IMHO if he wants a wife he can get one right out of the group he belongs to.
I do not think it is about wanting a wife.
I think he thinks/believes that a conversion means something special.

Her brother was afraid she was going to kill herself because she had told him earlier, before the problems started, about a couple of friends in the church who had committed suicide. So when she called in tears and then could not be found, he was worried she was going to be found dead too.

After he had been looking for a few weeks, he told us that he was worried for his own safety, because some of the people he had met, warned him that he might be in danger too.

I really, really, really hope that divorce settlement specifically precludes TC from teaching scientology to Suri when she is with him. Otherwise, I predict there will be a very confused little girl in the future.

She did not want Suri going to their school, and this will be Suri’s first year in School, KATE had to get her out of there.

Supposedly she is asking for sole custody of Suri. I don't know anything about divorce, but would this mean that something really weird is going on with Tom, that she wouldn't want him to have custody at all?

She does not want Scientology for Sure. Suri will be starting in the first grade this September.
She had her Attorney DAD handle it all. Tom signed.

I don't know these people but something about that guy has rubbed me very wrong since day one. There is a sort of cruelty to his face. And Katie seemed so different after she married him. Kind of lost her spark.

Thank God her Catholic parents kept a watchful eye. They never cared for this Scientology stuff. Her Dad punched out an agreement PRE marriage to protect her. He got her an apartment in NYC so that Tom would not ever suspect. He came and met her in NY while Tom was filming elsewhere. Her Dad was her salvation.
Nicole did not get her kids with Tom - I always thought that if Nicole had given birth to those kids she would be in his prison still right now.

BUT Kate did get Suri and I want to kiss her dad.

Back when the two became engaged there were rumors that it was a contracted marriage, and Katie was paid a handsome sum for a total of some many years. Some rumors had it at 5 years ( what a coincidence) some had it at 7, and so on. I searched trying to find something on the internet about this, but could not find a link. But I clearly remember these rumors surfacing when the two got engaged. At the time I leaned toward a 50/50 possibility. Now I am wondering whether there might have been some truth to it. My mind is open enough to entertain any possibilities. JMO of course

Maybe she did not like scientology and Tom told he if she does not listen she will be cut off....He probably told the Muscle at Scientology to lay off her so she does not get brutalized, and freaked out.

Nicole Kidman divorced Tom one week short of her 10 year contract...the marriage literally lasted 9 years, 11 months and 3 weeks (I know this because mine did too).

Tom planned for a hispanic for his next wife to help spread Scientology to this demographic, and Penelope Cruz considered it before backing away.

For whatever reason KH decided to spend a period of her life also contracted as his wife. Those who have followed her career know it was at a standstill when TC came along. She is really just not particularly good at acting, nor being famous. Being TC's wife was a great career move at the time, until he went off couch jumping and showing his general lunacy.

The fact that she was trapped in pretty much an arranged marriage has caused her to dress like hell, and look like hell, IMO as subtle revenge at TC (remember what a fashion plate Nicole is - part of the job description). She also refused to smile properly in any photo of them together in later years...again, a subtle protest.

IMO Suri IS TC's natural child, she has his crazy eyes. Hate to say that about such a beautiful little girl but that one is going to be trouble....probably is already. She was not conceived in the traditional way, but in a test tube.

Watch this space...TC will now "fall in love" with an even younger woman, whose career is also on the slide/not happening. He will attempt damage control on the "O" network, Oprah needs the ratings. He will star in lower and lower budget movies until he suddenly decideds to be a "director" or "producer" and get his fame fix through Suri, who right now is the most recognised face in the world (with all the accompanying potential psychological problems this sort of hot-house up bringing will induce) thanks to her loving fame-grasping parents.

Or, (my personal fantasy) the web of bs and lies TC and his fellow Scientolofreaks, the Travoltas, will be exposed once and for all for the piles of crazy they actually are, and TC also will be revealed as a closet homosexual.

John and Tom will both retire to the compound and we will see photos of them in 20 years with long grey hair and birkenstocks, holding hands while they select organic groceries.

I do not think that Kate knew much about him... Just an infatuation witha Star... Kept his posters up in her room as a teen.
I think she was and is innocent. her beauty shined without him. She will shine again.
Suri IMHO remains to be seen... Yes she is part of him, but she will be raised by Kate.

Thank God Kate had a good family to look out for her. Those are her angels who saved her.
