I agree, Steely. Still, I'm torn between feeling empathetic for their victimization, or feeling anger (and fear!) that so many people fall for it - even when there is so much information available that proves how corrupt their cult is and that they are supporting it simply by being members.

I will never see another Cruise or Travolta movie in my lifetime and I will never knowingly support any COS members in any imaginable way - except to help them get OUT!

I love Pulp Fiction too - so I'll just say no NEW movies!

JT has looked sad to me since long before his son died. His smile never really reaches his eyes.

I just don't understand how these people fall so completely for this nonsense. Even the jargon they use is disturbing to me. It's like code.

I don't think TC is gay. I think he's nothing. I know there's a word for that, but I'm too tired to look it up.

I do wish the kids of celebs weren't hounded by photographers though. I feel very sorry for them, having to live under a microscope.

I'm sure divorce is never easy, but Katie looks so happy for once - and little Suri is so adorable. I can't imagine being in that child's shoes however. Tom seems like a control freak to me, and I have to wonder what on earth has been put in Suri's little head.

I've been out of the country for the last two weeks and away from English speaking people and newspapers and am just finding out about this news! I can't say that the news of this divorce shocks me at all. They never seemed like a good fit. Whenever I saw pictures of them - I just always thought...how weird - he looks like her dad or something. I think Katie had such a huge crush on him and was smitten at first. She didn't really know the real Tom when she married him. She has looked unhappy for a long time in my opinion. No, their divorce does not shock me at all. The divorce that DID shock the crap out of me was Cameron Crowe and Nancy Wilson of Heart divorcing. I thought they would last forever!! It was SO sad to me when they announced their divorce last year! And now Nancy's already found herself a new hubby! Anyway, Katie is young and beautiful and seems very sweet. I hope the divorce isn't too hard on her and Suri that they both will come out better in the long run.

I agree. I find something sorrowful about JT. I hope the allegations of sexual assault against him are not true. But, I spoke to a friend who works in the industry today and she said it is well known that JT is gay in the industry and that he has had several liaisons with flight attendants. Maybe his sorrow is that he feels ashamed about who he is.

As far as TC is concerned, I agree too. It's unlikely he's gay or anything. The word is asexual. I think he's such a fanatic that he doesn't have much left for an on-going, sustained sexual life.

I'm going to admit here - and only here! - that I saw Rock of Ages on my birthday, which was also Father's Day. We ONLY saw it because Brave wasn't open yet!

It was so horrible that I laughed the whole time. I didn't realize until after the movie that it wasn't supposed to be funny the whole time.

So there's my "audit." Send me to the hole if you wish.

I haven't followed Katie's life or career all that much. What I'm saying I guess - is that I haven't cared one way or the other about her. It's her life, and it was her business (not mine) that she married a freak (TC is a freak IMO), but I can't tell you how much relief I'm feeling for her all the sudden - like Katie has been somewhat of a prisoner all these years and now she is on the road to freedom. I usually don't get caught up in such celebrity things, but I'm relieved for her that she is getting out of this marriage.

Don't know if this ladies interview has been posted. She has a lot of stories as she joined at 16. Interesting how Scientology keeps changing via leadership, she is very frank, and spunky. It is in 7 parts, the final one tells about some money (very large amounts) being moved to offshore accounts. The others just tell how and why she got in, some of the abuse that is worth knowing about, but I noticed she still has some attachment. Not just to some of her peers there, but some conflicting thoughts.

While watching the full Jason Beghe interview (poor guy, he's still angry about being conned a year after leaving), I discovered that Scientology does not support homosexuality. So, if any members are gay, I guess they never say it or just continue to suppress it. Again, not allowing humans to be humans, just soldiers for money. The term is one one. Written out: 1.1

I'm thinking that the Los Angeles Celeb. Centre in Los Feliz area needs a little walking. I think it would be quite interesting to see what would happen if, and when, a group (or maybe just one sole individual) took an hour to walk around with a sign about Shelley Miscavige and the MIL.

I'm thinking well, and why not?

I'm thinking it's one thing to watch vids and write posts on the net (which, btw, do reach people), but it's another thing to get out and, oh, I dunno, maybe take a stroll with a sign.

Not sure how that would go...but it would need to have a vid cam, for sure. And whomever did the walking would certainly be classified as an SP...and of course other people would need to be notified in case anyone went missing or anything.

Yeah, a vid cam. Which would be interesting. And perhaps a news crew.

TC is so full of himself sometimes. Look at how he words the following statement from his entertainment lawyer:
