I kind of think this child is overwhelmed and terrified of being constantly stalked by dozens of aggressive photographers. Can you imagine? Your every move, every emotion captured by a band of crazy people shouting your name. There really oughta' be a law.

Some kids seem to handle it better than others. The Jolie-Pitt kids seem to fare pretty well but there is a band of them. They have each other to lean on and share what I think could be a very scary experience for a child. Little Suri has only herself. So, she clings to her parents. (I note that when other kids are present, she walks).

I really have a problem with how the children of celebs are hounded. It's not right. If I were one of them, I would cling to my parent and bury my face in their shoulder, or hide myself behind a stuffed animal or blanky too, and I'd probably do that until the age of 12!! LOL!

THAT is what ive been trying to say for many pages now.....
everyone thinks she is an unhappy child based on pictures taken by THOSE people!! people who are all up their in their faces.....of course she looks miserable when out on the street surrounded by crazy people and cameras, she cant be a normal child on a walk w/ mom or dad....she is surrounded by papz all the time.....imagine the NOISE they produce too....absolute nerve wracking for anyone, even a child....

i still absolutely disagree that based on pictures put out by those stalkers she is an unhappy abnormal little girl.....i just dont buy it based on pictures taken by stalkers and them publishing what THEY want you to see and what will create the most gossip and speculation.....

Hey my dad was 5'5" too! Some of the toughest cats around are shorter guys. Size is not the issue here. TC and DM are just jerks and they would have been jerks no matter their height!

MAYBE... but no other stars kid looks that miserable. And the photographers are also up their butt.
Suri is not the only star child NOP. she looks more miserable than any other. :moo:
I can understand her parents picking her up to move through the cameras. but I think they create the photo opt.

I saw Evita last month - a 10 year old had one song... but she was so awesome she took us back stage and was telling us everything. A delightfull and talented 10 year old.
AS we exited the theater the paparazzi was everywhere after this kid. OK she was 10 and Suri is 6 -granted.
But at 10 she was not looking for a swarm of cameras in her face... we did shield her, but her face still looked like a child...
NOT miserable. there was still a clear, bright, playfulness in her. and yes she enjoyed that she was under our wings.
and the second we got away from the paparazzi and the theater she was really just a beautiful child.
Many stars go through this and their kids do not look miserable.

IMHO – Suri's home life is written on her poor beautiful face. And this will hopefully get better with time now that they have split.
JUST look at KH she looks so sad all the time. HAPPY they split. Bless her heart.

I hope Suri follows her mother and realizes how much she's done for her to keep her as normal as possible.
