Man, it's hard to believe that they found such a willing follower in Katie. I guess that Tom's interview process was quite successful in his selection of his next mate.

It's so sad that Katie has turned her back on her parents. She however is a full-grown adult capable of making her own decisions.

ETA: Any normal, caring person would accommodate the parents by two ceremonies, especially when one isn't even a religion (Scientology, that is).

One of my sisters "disowned" us because we wouldn't join her's. Its very sad.

It just seems so unreal to me. Common sense tells me that a religion would not make you choose between loved ones and the religion.

How fake IS Tiny Tommy's smile throughout?

did you notice how he makes himself even teensyer, weensyer next to Spielburg throughout?

Yes, I did. Spielberg has something Tom doesn't - class but I could tell he was starting to wonder when the ramble was going to end. I'm thinking this was all Tom's idea to present the award - it was his mission to make himself look like the good guy- everything was great between him and Steve because he didn't say a darn thing to praise Spielberg.

Dosent it make you wonder if Katie Holmes has any friends? Tom Cruises Scientology friends are the only ones anyone hears from.

I think that is all she's allowed to talk to. It's like he's shut her off to the whole world - other than his. :loser: :loser:

Are Jada and Will Scientologists also? If so, I thought they'd be smarter than that.

I don't think Will is, but I remember reading that Jada is new to the flock.

I hope she gets out before it's too late. I don't see Will falling for that crap.

I read today that Tom's contract with Paramount Studios is expiring. Where before he was earning 10 mil a year, they are now offering him 2 mil. He has not yet decided whether to accept.

Just how special is Suri?

Penelope Cruz: I've seen Suri, too

Cruz, who dated Cruise from 2001 to 2004, declined to offer details of the meeting, but praised Suri as a special baby.
"She's really beautiful. She's one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen," the 32-year-old actress said. She was in London Thursday night to attend the British premiere of her new film, "Volver."

Did Cruz become a scientologist too?

I know I should not laugh, I mean, it's a helpless innocent little baby, but....

What is it with these "stars" and their attraction to this religion? I just don't get it. Is it about their egos? Does this church elevate these people above the rest of the flock?

I hope that Katie Holmes comes to her senses and doesn't marry that nutball. I'd be sick to my stomach if she were my daughter. Tom Cruise is so strange these days. :(
