Tom vs Nicole

My very minimal personal experience with the scientologists was enough to convince me it was a cult. And that was 30 years ago before they became more "mainstream". I was lucky I had the self confidence to escape from their clutches. I just don't understand how people of otherwise normal intelligence can believe all this sci-fi craziness invented by a fiction writer as a basis for their core beliefs.

Over supper this evening someone told me that it was on one of them sensationalized TV shows that Tom Cruise's child with his present wife is actually the child of Ron L Hubbard. No doubt the dude could have left a bunch of his seed behind. If this were true I'm concerned this could mean the children of one very odd John Travolta's are Ron L Hubbard's as well. Holy Smokes could it be half the free world's kids are genetically related to the dude? Has anyone read that or was this person just messing with me? TIA.

No, it's true that a few rags are speculating about L. Ron being Suri's bio Dad. I don't buy it for a second, but it sure makes for good paper sales, I guess.

Andrew Morton's book on Tom comes out next week. I plan to buy it.

He wouldn't be the first cult leader to go in for "furthering his line" one way or another...

I just finished the excerpt and related articles. Wow. If true it's just the weirdest. I may have to read the book. I'm a hater :laugh: (of Tom Cruise) so I don't think I can resist. If this stuff is true Katie Holmes is absolutely nuts.

Now, I see why Tom won't be suing. Andrew Morton finds no proof that Tom is gay. I found that very interesting. Maybe, he's not...which begs the question: Could those Southpark writers actually be wrong??

My daughter is going to buy the book today and I'm thinking she should save her money if these are the juiciest tidbits!
The thoughts about Suri, Tom's spawn and Hubbard all appear to come from scientologists so I don't think I can put much stock into this.

I will say I have a hairdresser from London England and he told me years ago that he knows for a fact Tom is gay.

I might be tempted to buy the book myself! I'm always up for some good gossip.

Did you get any hints as to why your hairdresser "knew" that Tom was gay? Did he see him "out and about" with some guy at some point, maybe, early in his career??

So am I the only one who has heard that William Mapotner, or the guy from lost that is also Tom Cruise's cousin, is the father of Suri by insemination? I remember that there were all these rumors at the time of Katie and Cruise interviewing for a wife, so I am not surprised of the idea of Katie being a contract wife, but do you really think that Mapother would do that (give his sperm to Tom)?
BOTH his prior marriages were riddled with infertility problems. His first wife even said he was infertile then "retracted" it right after they divorced. Both ex wives have had babies. At least that was what I read somewhere.
Suri looks so much like him it is errie - and since it is family, the baby would be like family - and would resemble Tom...

I believe that Nicole was a contract wife as well... to cover up for Tom being of the opposite persausion. Why is he hiding it? There is no shame!!

My hairdresser was part of the gay community and said everyone knew. And yes it was quite a few years ago.

I never heard of this cousin. I don't know what to believe! I can't see Tom in Suri but I sure see Katie!!! They've even got the same hairdo now, lol!

Katie was on Regis & Kelly yesterday. I hadn't seen her interviewed in such a long time but she's really changed. She used to be so bubbly and now she is very subdued - at least yesterday. I just got the impression that she was trying so hard to look very reserved and sound grown-up. Maybe she's just matured but it just struck me as odd.
